I was thinking about Taylormad and Cleveland because my bag has TM long clubs and Cleveland wedges. I would think the weakness in each company is complimented by strength in tha other. I have had TM wedges and go back to Cleveland. I have had Cleveland long clubs and gone back to TM. I just dont get the impression that a lot of TM wedge players are in that special place with their wedges. I could be wrong. I have not researched extensively on it.

Hmm. Half the overhead and a combined larger market for the merged company. If those companies are public then share values could go up if it happened. I wonder if their respective product lines really are complementary.

Cleveland is owned by Srixon who intends to bring their woods and irons to the United States so for that reason and others stated I don't see it happening.  TM would have a better shot acquiring SCOR or Hopkins if they were looking for a wedge company.

If it did ever happen it would be one step closer to TM's wrold domination!!

Thet already have Admas Golf, they took on the Rosa brand and i seem to have read somewhere the Ashworth range may be part of TM?

I hop it doesnt get to a point where 2 of 3 "Super companies" own the other brands.
