Hi guys

I'm looking at the various analysers on the market and they seem broadly to produce similar feedback. I'm wondering if any of them help in actually interpreting the data and then offering drills or tips to improve the stats ?

I really like the idea of them but am not sure the information that they would give me would be very meaningful to me.

I've read some of the threads on here reviewing them but haven't seen anything that talks about how to use the information to actually improve your swing.

Does anyone have any ideas / experience with this ?

Can you give some examples of what qualifies as a "swing analyser"?

They are a pain in the ass. They are a distraction. Find a pro with a video camera.

The ones that attach to the shaft of your club will change the feel. They also slip and slide. 3Bays will diagram your swing path. Zepp will also diagram your swing path but you have to put your cell phone in your pocket. Do you play with your cell phone in your pocket? Now if you don't have room to set up a tripod or have anyone who can take a slow motion video of your swing they can be helpful that way. I did find the carry distances on the 3Bays to be fairly close, but the other numbers are pretty meaningless. You're spending more time futzing with the devices than working on what you should be working on.

Thanks for your reply DrvFrShow but it's not a review of the actual devices I'm after as such. More an understanding whether any of them help you to interpret the data they give you and suggest drills to fix any issues.

For example if the data told you that you have a 5% out to in swing, do this drill to fix it and try to get your numbers to 0% ( I just made those numbers up ).

I have the Zepp and love it, I've used it since Febuary. I had a terrible over the top move that I got back on plane thanks to the app. I'm 60 I've played 40 years and I have never been so consistent and long as now. My first 9 I played with some buddy's was at a course I never broke 45. That day I shot 41 and if I didn't get so nervous on the 9th hole and double chip I had a chance for 39.
