I got my pair of TL-01's today. I found them to be too narrow for my feat. I am going to exchange them for half a size larger and hopefully they fit better.

It's a narrower shoe, for sure. I know what you mean, particularly compared to some of their other shoes (and especially compared to the original Tours).

I got them in 10.5 because the length is good. I understand what you mean about the width. It's definitely a bit narrower. But since the length fits me, I'm keeping these.

I am not sure if it's just the smaller size, or the textile used for the inside of the shoe, but I find the shoe grips the sock a lot. A normal cotton sock didn't slide into the shoe easily.

That leather stuff on the inside will likely "slick up" a little bit. It's definitely "sticky" right now; I know exactly what you mean. I use a shoehorn, so slipping them on was a bit easier. (I use a shoehorn mainly to make things easier AND to protect the heels of my shoes from crunching them, not because I like to squeeze into too-small shoes.) The "sock fit" liner definitely "shrinks" the "opening" (I don't know what the shoe terms are called - the "mouth" of the shoe?), which means you have less room to slide your foot forward before pushing your heel down. That's true across all of the recent shoes (I don't use the shoehorn for the Knits… but those heels can't really be "crunched" anyway) with the SockFit liner.

Overall, I like the look a lot.

I think they're going to be a GREAT teaching shoe for me, for example, with enough tread I can play a semi-serious round of golf in them at a moment's notice.

BTW, I asked a TRUE guy, and he said:

They’re a solid shoe for sure. I found the same thing with mine; had to size up. They tend to run a little on the smaller side.

Since it’s leather, they’ll break in like a good baseball mitt and be super comfy for your feet.

That is good to hear. I think when I emailed them my size and comfort with the original, they recommended the same size. My foot might be in a weird in between width. I think exchanging them for a half size up with help.

Same here.  The length is perfect, and since I apparently have narrower feet than you all it's close enough to keep the pair I have.

Been wearing them at work yesterday and today and they're certainly comfortable.  I do hope that they get easier to put on/take off in time but already it seems part of the shoe is conforming to my foot already.  I also don't know if it just hasn't been quite as hot or something, but my feet don't seem to sweat in them as much as my other golf shoes, so that's always a plus for me.

They're getting more and more comfortable and easier to get on and off after a week of fairly consistent use.

Last night it was getting very dew-y and would be quite slippery in my old shoes and they held quite well.  The grip pattern does quite well in that regard as there wasn't much for grass clippings that stuck to the bottom of my shoes to reduce traction over time if they weren't cleaned.

If you missed it, the review was published a week ago or so.

I struggle to know how much weight to give to the one negative of the shoes (for ME!): the width. I opted to give people a good last impression of the shoes, and dispense with the width issue early on in the opinion section.

I like the shoes quite a bit, but they're definitely narrower than other TRUE models.
