I just joined up last week.  I live in the DFW area and play The Tribute as my home course.  Haven't tried Old American yet.  Right now, I'm trying to get my swing back and having some success.  May be searching for a new driver.  Aren't we all?  lol

Newest additions to my bag have been a Callaway Epic Flash 7 wood adjusted to 20 degrees and a Callaway Big Bertha 4i Hybrid adjusted to 23 degrees.

Looking forward to the interactions on golf and other topics.  Bourbon Whiskey?

Welcome to TST. Lots of nice courses in the dfw area. I have played quite a few of them.

Lots of good folks on this site. You'll have fun.

Welcome! New DFW member here as well. My home course is listed as Watters Creek but I play a large circuit in Collin Co. The Bridges, Heritage Ranch, Ridgeview, Twin Creeks, Indian Creek, on and on and on. We are very fortunate here. Also bourbon, if you find a place to get Blantons.... you'll probably never tell me but know im happy for you 😅

    • So hit the😝 irons crooked AND play layup golf?? Hahaha.. no thanks. I would rather stay home. 😊
    • First - glad to see these popping up again. Now to the topic at hand - I would rather be option 1.  If I know how far it's going (I mean a yard or two) I can always play to the wider parts of the fairway and/or the green and still do reasonably well.  Now if I could just really hit the "number" that well.
    • Day 2 (10 Mar 25) - Long day of driving to dr appt with son.  Thankfully got in one of my fave putting drills (two ball side by side) - the goal to have both balls come off the putter face equally by having them come off the putter face as close to the same time as possible.  First few rolls - the toe was leading the way as that ball flew off the face.  By the end of the drill both balls were basically equal off the face, rolling to within a couple of inches of each other.  Nice drill of focusing on squaring the face.  BTW - I was using the old Odyssey DF992.
    • Day 161 - 2025-03-10 Got a decent, long session in. Focused mostly on the backswing feels, and moved on toward the end of the four hours (not all hitting balls, I installed a motion sensing light switch in there too, and worked with a student over FaceTime for a bit) on the downswing feel.
    • Day 31: 3/10/25 Backswing drills with the ProSendr. Reinforcing iron play from yesterday.
