you can't use this thread as an excuse when your streak is broken.

I have a streak of about my last 7 rounds shooting over 100. And if I happen to break that streak this year I will blame it all on this thread. So please, please help me break my streak.

I have a streak going of 10 months with nothing above a double bogey. My last triple or more was in our club championship this past year. I am standing on the 8th hole @ -3, things are going good I think. Par 5, about 500 yds. I hit a solid drive about 310, have 6 iron in my hand and proceed to hit 3 OB's. Smart as I am, the guy in my cart says, I can't believe you are doing this. I told him, yes I am and throw me another ball I've got this shot. Needless to say I hit the shot in about a foot and a half and make a solid 10, laughing the whole time.

I have that beat. I end up having 7 birdies and an eagle and shooting 77. Thank God I wasn't carrying a dull rusty knife in my bag. LOL

This is a timely thread.

Well, thankfully this streak came to an end. It's amazing what's happens when you don't try to kill every ball and you actually keep your head down through the hitting zone. Granted I still shot 4 over, on my home course, so certainly nothing to write home about. But under the recent circumstances, I was very happy with the way I played today.

I've cussed at myself consecutively for the last 2,137 rounds. The funniest example was when I was "at work" wearing my cellphone earpiece on "autoanswer" and I'm cussing away at myself and my wife calls me and hears me saying, "what the **** are you doing, you idiot, that is just bullshit."

Well I didn't three putt the first but I did three putt the tenth so the no three putt streak ended at my 86th hole. My no three putt streak currently stands at eight holes, let's see how long it can last!
