I did not know a strong grip facilitates flexion, but now that I think about it, that makes sense.

The way I look at it is if it’s strong at the start, there’s nowhere to go but weaker. I dunno though. That’s how I think of it.

And that's not necessarily true. Lead wrist could also simply stay extended in the swing.

No, it’s not. It’s more of a generalization I guess. As we all know, there are no absolutes. I definitely would like to see the article in full, maybe Dahlquist will explain it more in depth. I’m tempted to ask on the Instagram post. 

He didn’t say when it promotes flexion either. Immediately after the swing starts or at the top. So many questions.

One of the key learnings of my and other instructors’ research on the lead wrist is that it works, to borrow a phrase, hand in hand with the clubface. Simply, whatever the lead wrist does, the clubface follows.

I've been trying to keep my lead wrist bowed throughout the swing.  I feel like it's helped.
