The Fooball thread is busy.  But basketball season is starting.  Is it too early to open a thread? - all the teams are working through their pre-season cupcakes and padding the stats.......

Except Kansas - hahahahahahahahahaha!

No padding that win loss record so far... (with that many turnovers, though, and still staying close, could Duke be on the decline even with a win?)

MSU started #1 but I didn't see that was deserved.   They will be the best in the B1G but that isn't saying too much.

My wildcats didn’t look to bad. Maxey is going to be a great player, and the defense should be one of the best in country.  Could be number 1 for a while after that in over mich state.

I'm not well versed in NCAA basketball analytics.

Kenpom is a pretty smart guy. check out his rankings. 

MSU got to the final four last year and they probably return their whole team. Yea, Wikipedia says they lost three guys off their team.

Probably the biggest reason is they might have one of the best players in the country on a team that return most of their experience from a final four team from last year. 

Yea, I will be the first to admit the B10 isn't that strong this year. The ACC looks to be stacked this year. 

B10 has 6 in the top 3, but only 4 in the top 20. 

OSU has a nasty schedule this year facing, Villanova, North Carolina, and Kentucky as non-season opponents.

I despise Duke. Especially ever since Laitner hit that buzzer beater against NC in...1992?

I'm a lifelong Kentucky fan.  I'll have to admit I was pleasantly surprised with what I saw from them in the Michigan State game.  They played very good defense and Maxey played like an All American ( for at least that one game).  Hope springs eternal in Wildcat Country.

I started watching that one as it was a headliner - but I can't stand Dick Vitale.  So I had to switch it off.  I didn't want to take a chance of accidently un-muting and hearing his voice.

One of the top players in country, and maybe the 1st pick in the spring draft is ineligible.  Wiseman at Memphis, so glad he didn’t come to UK.

BOOM! OSU drops Villanova by 25 points, and had at one point a 30 point lead in the game! 

In the first week of December they got North Carolina followed by Kentucky before Christmas. Great non-conference schedule for Ohio State this year!

I’m a big UK fan, but after Evansville game we shouldn’t scare anyone.  They played without heart and our 2 to 3 bigs all suck

It's going to be an interesting season for Michigan.   They have put together some very good play and beat Creighton, North Carolina and Gonzaga.    Tomorrow they are playing Louisville in Louisville.    That's a tough schedule.

Yep, they got some good quality wins early. 

I am hoping that OSU puts a beating on UNC on Wednesday.

Maybe the B10 will be better than I thought.   3,4,6 and 11 but it's early.    I'll be impressed come the tournament.

OSU came out and trashed UNC last night, 74 to 49! 

Some awesome facts from the game
1. OSU Became just the 4th team ever to beat two top 10 teams by 25 points in the same season. 
2. It was the 2nd largest of victory against UNC at UNC in school history.
3. OSU held UNC to their lowest field goal percentage ever at home. 
4. OSU out rebounded UNC 48 to 32! EFFORT!!! 

If you tell me that OSU beat UNC team when Kaleb Wesson only had 10 points I would have said no way. This team has way more options to go to than a year ago.

      Day 24 (4 Dec 25) - Spent about an hour working with the new 55° wedge in the backyard.  Kept all shots to under 20yds.  Big focus - not decelerating thru downswing and keeping speed up with abbreviated backswing.  Nothing like hitting a low flighted chip with plenty of check spin and then purpose to float a pitch of similar distance.

      Day 114 12-4 Put some work in on backswing, moving the hips correctly, then feeling over to lead side. Didn't hit any balls was just focused on keeping flowy and moving better. I'll probably do another session tonight and add in some foam balls.

      Didn't say anything about your understanding in my post.  Well, if you are not insisting on alignment with logic of the WHS, then no.  Try me/us. What do you want from us then?? You are not making sense. You come here and post in an open forum, question a system that is constructed with logic, without using any of your own and then give us a small window of your personal experience to support your narrative which at first sight does not makes sense.  I mean, if you are a point of swearing then I would suggest you cut your losses and humor a more gullible audience elsewhere. Good heavens.
