Recently it's the shot after trying to escape from woods and hitting a tree, twice, and then you just have to take your medicine and punch it out laterally.

Kill slow play. Allow walking. Reduce ineffective golf instruction. Use environmentally friendly course maintenance.

I'm going with the 3.5 foot birdie putt you miss after knocking your shot to the green stiff.  Shanks, though they happen far less often, other than for Vinsk, are more demoralizing, but so rare.

Demoralizing is smart play meeting poor execution. I lay up perfectly with 15 yards of fairway remaining before that lateral water.  80 yards left to the pin.  Easy.  Hit a chunker into the drink

I haven’t hit a shank in over a month😃. But come on people, nothing is more demoralizing than a shank.

For me, the most demoralizing shot is just having a really good struck golf ball that ends up in a horrible spot. Like, you flush a ball, it hits the flag stick and ends up in a crappy spot. You stripe a drive, and it takes a very bad bounce behind a tree. It's like, I did all I could here, and the result ended up in the worst possible outcome for that shot. Like, hitting a bad shot, that ends up in a bad spot, that isn't all that demoralizing. 

The opposite would be like, skulling a 90 yard wedge shot to about 3" because the course is firm and fast and the ball rolls 50 yards like you meant to play it along the ground. 🙂

      I  no longer spend the time and effort trying to sell something I no longer need. Instead, if the clubs are in good condition, I go to my local golf shop or even Dicks Sporting Goods. Trade the clubs in for store credit and pick up something I need, like a hat. Cause you always need another golf hat!

      Day 205 3-10 Wider backswing, reconnecting arm in downswing/arching wrist through. Also worked on less pause at the top. Recorded and hit a few foam balls.

      I really enjoyed this episode with Nick from Callaway. I didn't know the problem with swing weight and female golfers, but it makes sense. I actually think swing weight might not matter that much. If everyone senses the club differently, then wouldn't it mean that people might feel swing weights differently? Swing weight is a way to classify how heavy a club feels during the swing. Yet for a 70-year-old golfer, a D0 might feel like a D4 for a 25-year-old golfer? I think stronger people would consider higher swing weights lighter. Maybe a C8 equals a D2 in terms of feel?
