I've tied Callaway and titleist gloves, but they are just not as durable as the FJ's.

I voted Mizuno - picked up 2 for €25 last month and they're great. Leather on the inside, synthetic on the outside - so it's cheaper than 100% leather gloves.

I have the same problem with my FJ glove! So Mizuno is the brand you'd advise then? I'm used to wear black gloves and I'm afraid they don't make them do they?

I have always used Footjoy and this year I've went back to the StaSof. Kind of pricey, but I picked up two on eBay for $25 with shipping for both of them. Saved some cash! Great place to save some $$$.

Off topic, but how do some of you guys customize the signature to show your clubs/bag?

I typically don't wear gloves (I like the feel of the chords.....a sure grip), but I did just purchase some FootJoy winter condition golf gloves....for "Spring" conditions here in Northwestern Pennsylvania.

I like my Footjoy's, and it is difficult for me to get RIGHT hand gloves, as all my pro shop stocks is footjoys in right hand. I do like Mizuno's as well though, and titleist's feel great but a big price too.

I play with titliest glove, but I practice with nike's low end glove. Those nike gloves are great for practice, because they are ridiculously durable and ive used just one for the last 3 months now. I find they are not good to play in because they are so thick and cumbersome. (i have small hands to begin with) Splitting them saves my more pricey titliest gloves, which would wear out to the skin in a week if I practiced with them. If I only use it to play with, I can get 10-15 rounds out of a new titliest before it begins to shred.

I've been using a nike glove since starting golf again (~1 month) and like it for play and practice. I have yet to see a titleist glove pricier than the $24 I paid for my current nike though. Can't remember the model.

SMT Lifetime Warranty glove. 100% leather, feels great...lifetime warranty, send it in whenever it gets dirty or torn or too sweaty, whatever, and they send you a brand new fresh one. Only pay like $7 for shipping.

I've got a few extra i'm selling if anybody is interested.

Nike's Tech-Whatever. It's the only glove I can get in black. Black gloves seem to last longer and my brother doesn't steal them.

I have 2 SMT gloves so I always have a fresh one and one going back to SMT to get a new one. So, I only wear a glove for probably about a month before I get a fresh one. Less time if I'm playing alot and during the warmer months.

I use Titleist gloves. Just love them! I've tried a lot, but nothing beats the Titleist ones. I got big hands, so that sort of played a big part aswell.

For rainy days I use FJ rain gloves.

I voted 'other', I use gloves made by a company called St Mellion, as good as Footjoy but half the price

    • You start pushing forward at P2. You start visibly moving forward at P3. Waiting until the top is way too late, yeah.
    • 100%. I've been guilty my entire time golfing of trying to fit everything imaginable into the .25 second downswing. Sometimes I think it's partly influenced by my backswing length and that if things were slightly longer on the way back, they'd be better synced up on the way down. I also kind of lack a transition. Was doing the practice swing drill today a decent bit where I was feeling like as the club got to the top, the feel of the weight was shifting me forward and initiating the fall into the lead leg. I loved this drill before for this reason and because I need to stop thinking of the golf swing as backswing and downswing.
    • The bold is very late.
    • Angle isn't perfect. Just found my TST alignment stick, so will make sure video angles are better in future videos. Focus right now is lower body and lower body only. If I make a single post here for the foreseeable future about anything NOT lower body focused, I need to be slapped (I will make an occasional note on unrelated stuff I might be seeing). It's not perfect by any means, but there is a decent bit I like about this swing. Lower body is definitely better than it was pre-TST meetup instruction. There are some things that are tough to see I think I'm doing better like where pressure is going into the trail foot and keeping that trail hip internally rotated. Need to keep feeling those. I think I do my best work when the trail leg keeps its flex on the backswing or at most loses a degree. Keeping the flex (but obviously not adding any) seems to help feel like I'm loading the right glute and to keep the hip internally rotated. Not totally sold on this though. I think my work on adding flow during the TST COVID-19 lessons really helped even though its been quite some time. Shift -> rotate -> shift -> rotate. I just need more out of my hips. It's not drastic, but it's everything. I think it will help sync up a lot regarding my swing and more power to boot. Unrelated note: I hate my negative spine angle.
    • Day 3 - mirror swings/drills after my workout. Two seemingly good feels for me: feel like as the club reaches the top the weight of it/momentum of it pointing left initiates my "fall" into the lead side. Helps initiate the re-centering and some of the pressure shift. The second feel is like: as soon as the re-centering is over, begin to lighten the trail foot by feeling like my right knee in the beginning of the downswing essentially replaces where my left knee was at the top. This helps halt my sometimes ludicrous slide and greatly helps me get open.
