Top Flite Hammer Golf Balls

So Dick's has repackaged what looks like the old D2 line of Top Flite golf balls into the new Hammer line.

Anybody play with these balls yet and can comment on performance?

$15.99 for 15 golf balls is nice on the wallet.

I'm playing the Hammer Controls as I previously would game the Top Flite D2 Feel and they are very similar in performance.  If anything I would say the HC feels slightly firmer than the D2 Feel but more soft than the Gamer.  Great value right now $25 for 30 balls (2 - 15 packs).

Was at the golf dome today and came across this:

 

Not only is it a Topflight, but it is an X-Out. I thought they only made X-outs of top shelf balls. 😀

In my opinion, the D2 Feel felt better, was a tad firmer.

I used to play TF Gamers, Bombs, in casual play and have been impressed with the bang for the buck experience. I would play the Hammer over the likes of an e12 type ball anytime. Here's a look at the box description:

After playing many rounds with these golf balls, I like them.

The rating on the box concerning spin, is a pipe dream.

The other 3 ratings however, I can agree with.
