Why 09 Burners So Expensive?

I recently listed a left handed set of ‘09 burners 3-pw with stiff shafts for sale on eBay. I listed as an auction and the price is currently at $370 with an hour left on the auction. Why did people bid so high on this set? I was expecting around $220 so I was blown away! They look to be in really good condition for how old they are. I would imagine that's why

They have a very good reputation, both online and mouth-to-mouth.  Advanced technology at the time.  As a game-improvement club they delivered ease in moving through the turf and more distance than other clubs of that era.  I have a friend who still plays 'em... and he won't change.

Full set, good condition, and lefty to boot! That's a recipe for a high price in my book. Glad that you got an extra 150 compared to what you thought, but I am not that surprised.

They're good clubs.  I know a guy who had the TP's; they look really great.  I play irons that are slightly newer than those--I play the R9 TP Forged irons from Japan.  I switched to them from my Nike TW VR irons and have really enjoyed them.
