Sad to hear of her passing. She was an incredible person and has influenced many with her passion for our country. She will be dearly missed.

Also, please no politics in this thread.

I was always interested that she and Scalia were close friends despite their differences in philosophy. We should respect intellectual honesty and openness such as that, I think. Best, -Marv

Every once in a while the passing of a public figure disturbs me more than usual.  This is one of those times.

In der bag:
Cleveland Hi-Bore driver, Maltby 5 wood, Maltby hybrid, Maltby irons and wedges (23 to 50) Vokey 59/07, Cleveland Niblick (LH-42), and a Maltby mallet putter.                                                                                                                                                 "When the going gets tough...it's tough to get going."

    • Day 90: Sep 22 Played 18 holes and steadily built a good score. A little inaccurate on approach play (but that’s being harsh) and a couple of questionable holes (back-to-back doubles) but otherwise all good. Got this thought process of “relax my forearms” - it’s not even a deliberate thought, just something that seems to be really helpful in delivering a good swing.
    • This looks like a better version of the Live View LivePod tripod. I just ordered one with the MagSafe mount.

    • I was lucky enough to get to try this product as well. The first thing I'd like to say about The GolfPod is that I was surprised by its sturdiness. I'm a bit of a clutz and even after dropping it in the parking lot or at the range, there are no signs of anything being damaged or chipped.  The second thing I like about it is the portability. As @iacas mentioned previously, a good tripod fits in your bag and that is certainly true.  Picture of The GolfPod inside its traveling case.  The GolfPod setup for my height at home.  Phone in The GolfPod holder. (Ignore the old phone used haha) The holder is one of the better ones that I have used in a tripod. It has a very firm grip on the phone and even when I tug on the phone to try and remove it has very good resistance. If you are on uneven surface, you can rotate the holder so you can keep your phone at the correct angle to film.    The last thing I wanted to highlight is the holder for the Bluetooth button. I think it's nice that there is a place to keep the button so you don't have to worry about losing it. I cannot speak about the functionality of the button as of yet, but having it on the tripod itself is a nice touch.  Overall, The GolfPod is a tripod I would recommend to anyone who needs one. It's easy to set up and use while you work on your swing. My favorite thing about The GolfPod is how easy it is to keep around by putting it in your golf bag. Because of its size, I no longer have an excuse to not film my swing while I work on it. That is an excuse I often give myself haha. But definitely check out The GolfPod and you won't be disappointed if you do purchase one.
