Jeopardy is my favorite show. Sad to hear of his passing today after his battle with cancer.

I never know what to say. He will be missed, and I appreciated the tiny bit of who he was as a person in Jeopardy.

He was 80 years old.

I hope the show carries on.  It wouldn't be exactly the same but watching it would remind us of Alex.

By the way...was it Art Kennedy who hosted the show originally?

Being an avid watcher of the show for over 20 years, I will miss Alex Trebek. It is going to be strange turning on the TV at 7:30 and not seeing Jeopardy (if they stop the show) or Alex Trebek as the host of Jeopardy.

Yep, Ken Jennings would be my guess. A great choice too.

He seems very funny, which would help. The hard part is that we know he knows the answers. Alex probably didn’t.

      I came across a terrible course marking this weekend, and I was inspired to start a thread where we could post terrible course markings. Here’s the one I saw:   Just completely baffling. You are totally screwed if your ball ends up there. The odds are small, but still.    Post your other ones! I want to see something that rivals this.

      hahaha, this one one is great My better than usual was referred to what I wrote after, the fact that at least they did not show a disproportionate amount of US player shots. I always bet on Europe. Even when playing on US soil the odds are so inviting that are worth the risk. At medinah it payed off big time. But I have to say that the home advantage has become such a strong factor that I am not sure I will bet on Europe at the next one

      Hey me too. The Ryder Cup may well be an ATM machine. I just bet on the home team every year and 70-80% of the time it makes money for me.
