One of the best places to buy shoes is: www.tgw.com

I wear Nike Air Max and a discontinued set of Nike Tiger Woods. Both are really comfortable. I'm told FootJoy are even more comfortable, though.

I wear the basic nikes - but mine have to look more like tennis shoes - i cant get into the ones that look like bowling shoes.

If you want comfort, Ecco are my favorite. I have two different pair. They aren't cheap, but are really comfortable and I like their styles. I also have a cheaper Nike pair and they are ok.

I second the Eccos. I also like the better FootJoys. I had a set of Gel Fusions that fit like slippers, yet worked very well.

Footjoy Contour series. Quite comfortable. Going into my 3rd season with them....playing 72+ holes per week.

I second this. Very comfortable and reasonably priced. I would never buy shoes without trying them on so would recommend a local store and not a catalog.

Loyalty above all else, except honor.

I have always worn Nike. Up until a few years ago it was always the ones that looked like athletic shoes that were converted into golf shoes. I could never wear the traditional saddle shoe styles as they gave me blisters. This was never a real issue except when I played a few rounds in the Fall at Oakland Hills and Franklin Hills. I was wearing kahkis and they looked a little odd with my tennis style shoes. Then Nike came out with the SP Saddle. It is a great shoe that has traditional looks and athletic shoe fit. Two years ago I also picked up a pair of the SP Swoosh. It is somewhat of a mix between traditional and athletic. It's great for shorts. When I need to wear long pants I just grab the saddles. These are the two best golf shoes I have ever owned.

I am going to pick up the new Nike Air Zoom Elite this season. They look great and are very comfortable.

are the sneaker styles really comfortable? I am thinking of picking up a pair for when I wear shorts.

They are just like wearing cross trainers.
