Great Golf Galaxy Commercial

This is so well done. The music you hear is Nicholas Britell’s score from Moonlight (you’re probably more familiar with his score for Succession). Was very startled to hear that in a golf commercial as there is not much arthouse indie movie golf crossover, historically.

Britell has a good story behind this piece. He normally sends a score to his regular violinist and gets back a recording promptly. For this one, the violinist says - give me a couple of days. Which makes sense. The arpeggios are a lot in this piece. It’s not easy to play.

This really is a good commercial as it hits home with any halfway serious golfer.

I don't know how many times I've watched this commercial, and never realized it was for Golf Galaxy. I guess I quit paying attention before they put up the graphics.
