Anyone play one? I'm really considering buying one. Either the 2 Ball or the 2 Ball with.

Golf in the summer, curl in the winter.

I don't, but I did buy a 2-ball putter as a birthday gift for a friend a few years ago.  Maybe a decade ago.

What are your goals for the club?  That might help determine if it's what you want.

Get way better at putting. I feel like from 2.5 feet I have a ten percent chance of making a putt, and obviously it just gets worse from farther out. I think my lag putting is okay, and my stroke okay as well (I pull the odd putt, but usually the roll is good). I think my alignment is terrible though. I have a lot of trouble visualizing a line.

Recently I broke 90 for the first time with an 86, but I had 39 putts (and IIRC only one one putt which was a lucky one from maybe 30 or 40 feet). I also had a three putts from about 6 feet which is obviously terrible. But I think it highlights that if I'm not knocking it within a foot and a half I'm in deep danger of three putting and unless I am knocking it right in really close I'm not getting any birdies.

For me, when I pull the putt, my right hand gets involved too much. I think that's why some start using an alternative grip, to keep the dominant right-hand more neutral. I don't play the number 10 putter but have demoed it a few times in the store and really is quite impressive how the moi helps keep the head  stable. With your alignment struggles, I could see it being a good idea for you to get fitted for one of these putters and have them work on your alignment as well.

There are a couple of putting drills in this thread below. Have you ever been fit for your putter? The most important thing is to be able to aim your putter on your start line and then start it on that line. A fitting will help with both.

Here are a couple of more great threads on putting.

@boogieliciousposted some great drills for you.  And for me.  I'm terrible at putting.

Before you spend money on a putter, let's see if the putter is at fault.

Also, counting number of putts is not a great metric.  Having really bad results, consistently, from where you should be getting better results, is.  So the three putting from 6 feet is bad and if it happens regularly, is something you want to work on.  Three putting from 45 feet, if that came as the result of a GIR, isn't a bad thing (it's something you'd want to eliminate, but if you're a double digit handicapper, it isn't a terrible result).  And if that 45 feet came as the result of a bad short game shot, then the fault is less in the putting (at least, for that hole).

I have an older 2 Ball and love it.   I'm still waiting for it to break so I can get to Erie to be fitted for an Edel.

I really like the way this putter rolls the ball and lines up.  I like the lined version in the middle of the two balls.  It would take a lot to get my Rossie out of the bag but I do really like the 2 ball ten.

    • the rules have changed, but this would fall under 11.2 in the current rules.  General Penalty to any player who deliberately deflects a ball in motion, and you must replay the putt.
    • Day 250 4-29 Getting chest through with speed on downswing and wrist arch. Also worked on some moving the pelvis slightly away in the backswing. Feel like im going too fast and long, looks like it on the recordings too.
    • Interesting that it's no penalty, but then again, I can't imagine someone would purposefully put their foot out there in this situation or one like it.  And then there was the time someone purposefully deflected his own ball during a major, but that's very different too. The only time I can recall a ball I hit hitting another player or their equipment was ages ago -- over a decade and a half ago.  I had a 3' putt for an 89 and someone (a random pairing, not someone I knew) decided it was a good time for goaltending practice.  That wouldn't fall under this rule, though (and it wasn't in a tournament anyway). Thanks for continuing to share these, Dave!  I always find these interesting.
    • Day 51 (29 Apr 26) - Worked with a few of the golf team kids plus my grandson (he’s too young for the team as it’s middle-high school age and he’ll be 10 Sat).  He put on a small hitting clinic (hitting off the same tees as the rest of the boys) - one of the older kids called him a “coach”.  Worked in a few shots for myself - had the light bag: driver, 7w, 4 - 6 - 8 - Pw - Sw (DCI 962’s except the Sw a 981) and Zebra putter….got in some great tee shots, a couple of recovery and an awesome up and down for bogie: 55 yds out, hitting 4th shot due to 2nd getting tangled in limbs - see the window I need to hit for a tight spinner with the Sw - nail it to a postage letter distance from the cup for a tap in bogie….my kind of practice.
    • Day 21, April 29.  Before going to work this morning, I worked in my indoor practice room for 20 minutes.   This was entirely 6-iron shots with the usual step.  Video yesterday showed me that I'm still straightening my trail leg too much (leading to the backswing length issue I've been working to fix), so I focused on not doing that in my rehearsal swings.
