Bryan Bros and Busta Jack are very entertaining. GM golf is pretty fun to watch too.

Golf Sidekick actually got me interested in playing again,  but I've found that I'd much rather watch others play than do it myself.

Saves myself $50-100 bucks and a ton of aggravation. #golfjustaintmygame

I’d love to see a YT tournament with the ‘top 25’ YT instructors. Maybe just a 36 hole weekend tournament. I’d enjoy seeing all these guys that run their ball washers compete against one another. I’d particularly be interested to see Jim Venetos play to his ‘+5’ hcp. So not necessarily top 25 in regards to popularity, but those with the most  ball washing on their channel.

I just saw that, LMFAO. That's a good one.

Haha I get it! Love being on the course, but sometimes (many times) I don't know why I do it to myself.

Also a fan of Bryan Bros and Busta Jack.

I wasn't sure where to put this link, so I thought here would be fine.

Kyle Berkshire, great channel. But it's this recent upload from him that I wanted to post here, his 9-hole match with Rocco Mediate.

Really cool matchup I thought. Didn't get too many views. Wish it was 18 holes!

Spoiler

It's absurd how sick Rocco is. He's 62 years old now!

Nothing to do this morning, let’s watch a video. Entertaining. Thanks @JetFan1983.

It's a cool matchup! Both players inspire me in different ways. Rocco's ballstriking is so impressive. I of course didn't care for his "valley effect" green reading tip, but other than that, it's a cool 9 hole battle IMO. Glad you enjoyed it!

I actually enjoy watching the women players on YT more than the men because I can relate far more to how far they hit it and hence their club selection.  Too many of the guys are bombing it over 300 carry and that makes it difficult for me.  It doesn't hurt that the women are pleasing on the eye, but that is just a bonus.  What draws me to a channel is being able to say I could potentially hit those shots/distances if I practiced a bit (probably LOT) more 🙈

Say what you will about the BDS guys, but hats off to Lebron for being really cool about this, knowing the names of them all and showing he's obviously a fan. Language isn't family friendly just FYI...

    • The wind might be different above 60 feet, but peak height for many golfers is 80-90 feet, so it's spending a good chunk of its time being affected by the wind below 60 feet. But, yes, judging the wind is one of the toughest things. We've had a very windy spring, but it's been a bit more normal lately.
    • So, I was watching some YouTube golf. Ryan Ruffels mentioned that the Australian National Golf Team brought in the sailing team to teach them how to read wind. They said that anything above 60-FT in-the-air basically fallows the wind currents. So, picking up any grass and throwing it in the air is basically pointless since most all golf shots are going to be above 90-FT in the air. He did make the comment that if you do play on courses where trees are routinely above 60-FT, then the swirling wind matters. That is why, like on the 12th hole at Augusta, it's a pain. The trees down there influence that shot. If your shots are getting near the top of the trees, or above the trees, look up the direction of the wind. If you want to get a better gauge of the wind. Go to the national weather service. If you type in the zip code for the location of the course, at the bottom of the page there is a clickable image for a graph of the weather, Hourly Weather Forecast.  The graph will have surface wind (33-FT above ground), but it will tell you the direction the wind is coming from (i.e. out of the north). If you want to be really technical about it. Going from 33-FT to 100-Ft in height, you are increasing wind speed by about 25% as well.
    • If you are the golfer who wants to go out on the weekend. Enjoy a few beers with some friends, hacking it around the course. Don't have intention of practicing to get better. Then go buy the cheapest golf balls. Don't waste money when you are not putting in the effort.  The opposite is true. If you plan on getting trying to get better, playing more, practicing more, or if you are a halfway decent to very good golfer who is in the wrong golf ball. Getting into the right golf ball for your game is beneficial. You are putting in time, money, effort into your game. Why devalue that effort or hurt your game by playing a crappy golf ball.
    • Golf balls are not all the same, no. You're right about that. Finding a good golf ball for your game is important to play your best.
