I just purchased this bag. The bag was well thought out.  It has an internal pocket inside the large apparel one. Purpose is for easy access to rain gear. That inside pocket also holds the rain cover very well. Weighing only 4lbs it still has plenty of pockets. The beverage holder is larger than normal, a wide Gatorade can fit with ease. This stand bag also fits perfectly on my Clicgear Rovic(smaller cart). Very impressed after 1st use. Coming from a SunMountain 2.5 bag the Cobra isn’t much different as far as club set up in bag. The outer material of the bag is nicer than the SunMountain. Hopefully this is a durable bag. The next test will be hoofing it for 18. The 1lbs difference in basic weight is negligible. Cobra also ran a promotion throwing in a Puma poptop portable speaker. Solid deal for $152 shipped.

Thanks for the review! I was just starting to look for a reasonably light weight stand bag and will check this one out. Does this one have an insulated pocket?

There is no insulated pocket. The drink pouch is rather large. 2 cans can fit side by side. There is also a pocket above it than can fit another 3 or so. Maybe an ice pack would work. It is cold where I live now so no need for ice pack at the moment.

I actually envy you guys who can use a bag that’s not the same brand as your clubs. I can’t do it. I just can’t.

@Vinsk I do have 1 club that the brand matches the bag. That would be weird otherwise. Ha

I don't want to be a walking billboard so that's why I use a "neutral" bag, currently Datrek, but in the past, Ogio (which I think is owned by Callaway.) Sun Mountain is also a good choice to consider as well as Maxfli (owned by Dicks/Golf Galaxy). They're probably other brand neutral bags but considering the price of golf bags has gone through the roof in the last couple of years, I'll keep mine as long as it holds together.

If you look at my bag set up I use all different brands. I play what I like. I was using the Sun Mountain 2.5. Good solid walking bag. Brand agnostic but I found this bag does not fit great on a push cart. Rovic the smallest of the Cligear family and still was always moving around. I took a flyer on the Cobra bag because I wanted something that fit a bit better and at only a 4 lbs it was a small jump up. I still like to throw the bag on my back with a half set for some rounds in the year. To each their own.

    • For those of you who like F1 racing. I find this sort of thing fascinating from just the engineering aspect. I don't follow F1 that much, but I find it amazing the things we have created.
    • Yea, if Patrick Reed never wins another tournament again I wouldn't mind that. He is the most unlikable golfer, maybe ever. Don't get me wrong, I grew up watching Wrestling. I am all for there being heels. Yea, he sucks, he is a cheater, he can lose all the tournaments he is in.  I agree with the others. I don't get the Scottie hate. He is a very likable guy. I have huge respect for his game. It's wouldn't mind seeing him end up with more majors than Rory, Phil, etc...
    • Yea, that is a stupid question to ask. Also, let's say if you rank the two out of 100. What if the 83rd PGA tour win is like 99/100 and a Ryder Cup is 98/100. That doesn't diminish the Ryder Cup. It isn't an either or. Especially if you ask him which PGA Tour win. What if it is another major? What if it's another tour championship? Maybe another Memorial Tournament that has a super strong field?  You want to make this a simple black or white question, but it isn't. Maybe he would surprise you. You have no clue. Maybe Tiger actually regrets all those performances and outcomes in the Ryder Cup. He is a hyper competitive person who has an understanding of his legacy in golf. I am sure he knows the Ryder Cup record is a blemish on the GOAT performance he has.  So yea, you have no clue, no evidence, and sound just like a hater.
    • Maybe because he spells Scotty with an “ie” instead of with a “y” like a real man?
    • I have none except this - hook him up to a lie detector test and ask if he would rather have that 83rd tour win for solo first or another Ryder cup victory?
