Help Identifying Ben Hogan Power Thrust Irons and Wilson Putter

Just looking for whatever information people might have on the irons, got them from a yard sale quite a few years back in a blended bag. Debating have them restored and paint filled, but not sure if it's worth it. 

As for the putter, it was my great father's, really don't know much about it he gave it to me when I was very young after teaching me how to hold a club. Really just curious if anyone knows what year it'd be from.

Those irons are mostly the Power Thrust model from 1961. If refurbished you may find a Hogan enthusiast willing to give you a few hundred bucks for a set…..

Thanks for the info @Vinsk. Honestly, think I'd more more interested in restoring them to hit with than to sell. Just wasn't all that sure if they were considered good playing clubs or more of a vintage display type deal.

Well that’s purely your own choice. I too like to get out and play older model clubs just for the hell of it. I just bought a real nice set of 1987 Wilson Fluid Feel 2-PW. They’re in amazingly good condition….I’ll post pics in another thread. I often play with my set of Titleist 620MB irons to which I have no business playing…lol. But I think having some that prepared me a bit for complete lack of any forgiveness with the older blades.

Yeah there's just something about giving vintage equipment a second life that I've always enjoyed, vintage cars, clubs, instruments there's just something to it. 

And coming back to modern equipment after, just makes everything seem so much easier and definitely more forgiving when it comes to clubs.

The difference between modern blades and vintage blades is surprisingly significant.
