I wouldn’t have minded a list at the end of their successes and maybe the one or two they missed.

That was entertaining, but there are at least two people who have sunk a longer putt:  Brad Faxon and Jose Maria Olazabal, both of whom sank very long putts in the late 90s. 

There's probably some wording for the record that discounts those.

The record was for non-tournament putts.

Are you talking about the putts they made while flying on a Concorde?

Guinness has very specific criteria for their records and verification. I believe it includes them being there to witness it. I’ve seen videos of Kyle Berkshire hitting a putter much farther than Rory did.

Yes. and thank you   I will have to call Zach Johnson and suggest that this year's team repeat the stunt and have someone from Guinness there.

Makes me wonder how many takes they made prior to success, especially the 2 balls into a hole and longest putt. If that was their one and only attempt that day, then I am really impressed.
