After playing his first practice round at the 2026 U.S. Open, Michael Kim offered a less-than-glowing review of Shinnecock's "bumpy" greens.

 

The sand, I don't care about that. If the greens didn't come back as well for latest aerification, that would be a bit of a blunder on Shinnecock I think.

I'm good with the bunkers, and the fairways are SUPER wide. Three yards should stop a ball that isn't landing in it from rolling into the hay.

The course is playing tough. We’re only about 50 miles away. It very windy here and going to get worse. They’re all dressed like it’s the British Open!

Don't hate anyone but phonies are hard to root for. Not in the elite douche b league with the likes of Fatrick, Sergio or Poulter but I would be okay if Woundup Clock doesn't win tomorrow..😑
