I'm just curious, how much do you think Stuart Appleby's GOLF BAG ONLY! worth?

Due to copyright protection, I just give you the link to the site: http://www.golfwrx.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=30277

It's the 8th pics from the top. It's the same exact bag with his name and logo, An Apple and a Bee.

I have the bag and I'm contemplating to put it here for sale or Ebay but I don't know how much to ask. If any of you guys interested, PM me with offer.

Thanks
Steve

Wow you certainly have come across some nice Bridgestone equipment recently. Why are you selling it all?

Well the J36CB was way too stiff for me and I practically gave it away. The bag, well I need money to cover my lost on the club.

So it is Stuart's actual bag? Or an exact replica of his bag? I am confused.

I've confirmed it with Bridgestone Golf and they said Bridgestone Golf does NOT mass produce golf bag with his name and logo for consumers and only do it for Stuart Appleby but that doesn't mean it's the only one available for him.

I'm pretty darn sure that this is his personal bag. It's the 2007 Model, black with the red stripe. The 2008 model has a yellow stripe. Thanks Steve

You are probably right. It probably is/was his. However you could sure fetch alot more for it if you could say for sure it was his bag vs pretty darn sure it was his bag..

Well it look like exactly on the golfwrx website and Bridgestone told me they only do it for him so you do the math.

Yeah, but "his personal bag" doesn't mean he used it. They make several for a single pro each year. He might never use some of them.

You're right. It could be his spare or backup bag but either way it's limited bag.

    • Short gym set at lunch;  bench press, four sets of five, 180 lbs.   Did a few of the medicine ball / driver drill too while I was at it.
    • I took a look at a 6,300 yard fairly easy course and it was 99% distance and then a 6,800 yard more challenging course and it was 97% distance. Do you have an example of one less that 95% or 90%? Maybe I am misunderstanding something. (6,310/220) + 40.9 = 69.6. Course rating is 70.0 with a 120 slope. Less than 1% other factors? (6,804/220) + 40.9 = 71.8. Course rating is 74.0 with a 140 slope. About 3% other factors? These are more extreme: (4,698/220) + 40.9 = 62.3. Course rating is 62.7 with a slope of 101.  (7,569/220) + 40.9 = 75.3. Course rating is 77.4 with a slope of 155. So long hard courses are 97% length and short easy courses are 99% length in these examples. I am new to this so maybe I am all wet.
    • I think in fairness what he means is Tommy's chances to win PGA Tour events are fairly similar in number to Rory's chances to win the Masters. I don't think he's remotely saying that Tommy and Rory are in the same league. Maybe I'm misunderstanding, but I took the comment as meaning if he keeps giving himself chances to win then eventually he will win one. Rory had a thing in his head about the Masters and won anyway. Tommy has a thing in his head about PGA Tour events. They do seem fairly analogous to me.
    • Don't get me wrong, I like TF from a nice-guy-next-door perspective but I was surprised at the nerves he showed on the 2nd putt on 17th. That was unmistakably a stroke of a player who had already submitted to the writing on the wall. Honestly I would not expect that out of a veteran tour player. I would have liked to continue rooting for him but gotta see a bit more fight from him. Rory could be reasonably accused of being a head case but he is a fighter. Big difference.
    • Um no. Rory Wins PGA Tour 29, EU 19, Majors 5, FedEx Cup 3 Tommy PGA Tour 0, EU 7, Majors 0, FedEx 0 He may win eventually, but he’s not in the same league as Rory.
