Sergio 200 yard 9 iron?!

Sergio is an excellent ballstriker, and It doesn't surprise me that much, if he's really going at it hard, it may de-loft a little on impact and go very far.

I've said it before Sergio hits his short irons further than anyone on tour. Ive seen him hit a 9 iron, flat ground 200 yards pin high before. Alot of tour players can put a ball back in there stance, squeeze it and get a short iron so high in a 10mph down wind situation... they'll hit it 2 iron distance. Like golfjunkie said he's a great ballstriker and creates more lag than anyone on tour.. really it doesnt surprise me at all.

Thats not impossible, It really depends on the conditions but Sergio has an amazing swing, its no swing like Ive ever seen before. He takes way more than a full shoulder turn while he still keeps his swing relatively short.
