I have a 1, 2 and 3 (15*,17* and 20*) - The 2 + 3 I would never give up. The 1 is either hit or miss for me right now but it is good more often than bad.

I cant hit the darn things. i hit a two iron wayyy more consisitently than a hybrid.

i am experimenting with a tm tp rescue rigiht now, and its working, but i sitll would rather have a 2-PW, rather than alot of guys i play with who have nearly 3, even 4 hybrids.

When the 7 iron is your longest iron, theres something wrong with your golf game that even hybrids cant fix.

I have never gotten used to hybrids after trying them. I can hit them, but don't prefer them. Like to keep it classic with all Irons. Rarely even need to use my 3 iron anyways.

Just a #1 hybrid right now.

It is taking care of business filling the gap between 3 iron and 3 wood.

I picked it up yesterday morning and played one round with it. Useful club. I hit a nice drive on one hole carrying and drawing away from the righthand fairway bunker.

The ball settled down quickly and stopped dead in a large divot.....middle of the fairway. I was 205 from the center of the green. I was nervous with 3 iron due to the poor lie. I pulled out the hybrid and took a smooth practice swing a few waggles....addressed the ball and pulled the trigger with my main thought being to hit down on ball and follow through.

The result was the pleasant sound and feel of a solidly hit shot...not the sting of a thin iron. The ball turned out well and I was able to 2-putt for par.

19, 22, and 24 degree hybrids. They'll forgive bad swings way better than long irons.

I use two, 22* and 26* Nike CPR hybrids. I've used Maltby golf hybrids, and I can pound those things. It even got the the point while in the fairway, I could even get away from my swing mechanics and simply crush the ball, still with accuracy. I haven't gotten to play with my Nike's yet since it has amazing rained for 7 straight days (95% during the daylight hours) and is suppossed to rain for the next two. But if I'm hitting an offbrand I think Nike will work. After that it's 4-PW Cobras.

I use a 3, 4, & 5 hybrid, but I plan to drop the 4 & 5 when I get my new irons. I will probably leave the 3 hybrid in there till I get my 3 iron working well.

None! I just can't hit them anymore, they used to be a good club for me but now they just don't cut it. I like the 2 iron a lot better then the hybrid, plus long irons are more versatile then hybrids.

I probably have more than most: 16, 18, 20, 23 and 26 degree hybrids. They take the place of 3, 5 and 7 woods and 4 and 5 irons. They're easy to hit. If I had more time to practice, I would likely eschew them for more traditional irons and woods because I like the look of the traditional clubs. But, for now, the hybrids stay in the bag.

I replace my 3, 4, 5 and 6 irons. Higher handicaps need to have the courage to put the club in their bag that allows them to be the most consistent and accurate given their strengths and weaknesses. For a lot of us the longer irons get progressively harder and harder to hit. I'm supposed to play a 6 iron because someone who is either a better long iron player, a staunch traditionalist, or just a small-minded bully thinks it's some sort of sign of weakness? Only the score goes on the card, guys.
