So I am rebuilding my Woods since I have recently found a driver and 3 wood that I like way more than what I currently use... so my question is this. Since I am buying all new and want to stay consistant with the driver and 3 wood... Which one would you prefer and why?

Hybrid. You can hit out of more lies with a nice hybrid than a 5 wood.

The hybrid is a lot more versatile, but a lot of your decision should depend on what kind of club YOU prefer and what you hit better. If you can't hit a hybrid, you might want to consider the 5 wood/vice versa.

Isn't 18* more like a 2 hybrid? My cleveland hibore 2h is 19*.

I can hit them both... just wanted to see what everyone else liked about each one.

I have both the 5 wood and 25 degree hybrid and I use the hybrid more often for a variety of shots and different lies.

I believe your questions is if both are equal in distance, which would I buy, I would still say the hybrid for it versatility.

When I re-do my woods, I'm considering getting a driver, fairway wood of around 15-16 degrees, and a 20 degree hybrid. Which "club" is which is a grey area now, so the 3-Hybrid from some company could very well be the 5-wood from another.
