I paid $1.56 today in Platte City, which is between Kansas City and St. Joseph, MO.

On a side note, oil sold for less than $50.00 a barrel today, and gas futures fell under $1.00 a gallon.

Too bad this reduction in gas and oil prices is in direct correlation with the slumping economy, but at least it isn't still $3.00 a gallon.

Thank God it is back below $3 / gallon. That spike in oil cost me a few rounds of Golf this summer.

Eventually, I'll get the hint and stop advertising, which is against the rules.

Just payed $1.10. Lowest that I have paid in a long time

Wow! I didn't realise it was that cheap anywhere in the country! Is there something I should know about why Wyoming is so cheap? It seems Wheatland (which is in the middle of nowhere) is quite a bit cheaper, 30 cents a gallon than anywhere else!

85 octane is cheaper than 87 octane. (That is NOT E85, but actually 85 octane). I saw it throughout Wyoming when we drove to California a couple years ago.

One thing we all have to deal with is gas prices. Basically this is a thread to let others know what gas costs in different parts of the country. If when you post it shows where you are from, great, but if it doesn't you might mention where you are so the price might mean something. On my way to work this morning I was surprised that regular unleaded actually went down 5 cents to $3.799 because both oil prices and gas futures shot way up yesterday. It's been coming down from a high of $4.169 a couple of weeks ago. Diesel is $4.499. I live just a few miles from Missouri and try to plan my fill ups there if possible because gas is generally 5 to 9 cents cheaper.

Yesterday, Nov. 24th, in Upstate NY, the price for regular unleaded was $1.91 a gallon---which is the lowest in a long, long time.
