1) I will start with drivers that follow too close to you.

played with three old men today... they never knew which ball was their own... not kidding, several times they hit eachothers ball - WTF!

One in particular walked all over my line several times... eventually I said something and I'm not 100% sure he even knew what I was talking about.

other pet peeves...
1) bad drivers
2) people who are not assertive
3) Ben Curtis and his football uniforms
4) JB Holmes in general
5) my 3-wood
6) people who slurp soup and coffee really loud
7) noisy children
8) parents letting children make messes and reep havic
9) NASCAR
10) cell phones in movies theatres... or on golf courses
I could go on and on... LOTS of things annoy me.

actually, i hate text message language in general. i text a heck of a lot and always use proper grammar

but my mom is an english major, what do you expect?

-The US's obsession with entertainment news. I would rather have intellectual programming on the main networks between 7pm and 8pm.
-People who play music loud enough to go through walls, or who have their windows down in traffic and you can feel the dull thud of bass on the side of your car.
-Chain restaurants

Pet Peeves:

• Slow driving
• People that overuse the word "literally" and take it out of context
• The constant use of Double Negatives (My friends are terrible with this)
• When people complain about text messaging. (Does it really bother you?! If so....HOW?!) I get that crap all the time..... I'm not texting you so shove off!
• Quite often, when people I'm not holding a conversation with start talking to me about stuff I don't care about. I don't care! (and yes, I will tell them when we get to that point)
• When people try "fixing" my swing in the middle of a round. Yes I'm paying attention to you and giving your input some thought....but, I'm not going to change what I'm doing in the middle of a round unless it's something obviously wrong.
• People that expect me to teach them how to do their job (that they've been doing longer than I have. Better yet...people that expect me to do their job.

On golfing peeves, I'd have to have:

1) People not repairing pitchmarks.
2) Ditto re. divots.
3) Ditto raking bunkers.
4) People at your club who never have been, are not and never will be important. You know the sort? Unimportant job which they think doesn't deserve to have them so they think being in a golf club makes them somehow superior. They _always_ want to be on the Committees as well. Jeez!

Recent new peeve:

1) Use of the made up word, "winningest" .

- Hybrid drivers who think the speed limit is now 50mph on the freeway cause they're in a hybrid
