Scotty Cameron Detour @ Golf Galaxy for $199

Didn't know if this would help anyone, but got a GG email this evening and linked into the Bargain Bin or whatever they call it and found the Detour on there.

Seems a good price for a new SC.

i have the scotty cameron detour 2. its the one with the shorter "tail" on it. these putters are great but i must warn you. the tail thing is curved slightly to teach you to round your putting stroke. if you are someone who like the straight back, straight forward then this style will throw your putts off.

I saw this on sale at my local golf store and immediately grabbed it as if I had found some secret mismark error... Then I tried to putt with it a few times, and holy shit I think it's terrible. Just my opinion, and obviously a visual/mental deal, but I can't nor would I want to put with the thing.

Just bought a Detour on ebay for $187 canadian. We'll see if it plays as good as it looks. I'm pretty flexible when it comes to swing adjustments. But my putting is sorely in need of help.

Definitely a wand made for those who "arc".

Not a bad feeling putter, either. I dabbled with one for a couple of months last year. Distance control was improved for me using this putter.

Lol mine had a detour for 50.. Wont pick it up tho..

GG has some great deals on scottys.. Mine generally have 4 or 5, of those i or my friends have picked up,

But i am on the straight and narrow now.. Sending my Newport off after a lenghty talk with Monica to BOS for a IIIx Matte Black finish, My initials stamped on the bumper, and a re mill of the face, all with green paint fill :) The MP-32s wont be far behind for a IIIX black finish with red paint..
