The title of the thread says it all.

I haven't even voted yet, but now that he is coming back (as shown in another thread) I thought you guys might like to weigh in on your opinions.

I'm saying 2. The Masters and the PGA Championship. Phil's winning at Bethpage, and Sergio will finally win at the Open.

Good call on the Masters and the PGA, but I really don't think Phil has the chops to win at Bethpage and I'm in the camp that thinks Sergio will never win a major.

As for Bethpage, Tiger's won there before, he's seems to play well when he has good memories of past play.

Cheers, Allan

Dont shoot, but I say no majors.
He will win a tourn here and there. ......there are too many good players that can get in their groove for him to win at any given time.

I like his odds to win 1 ....I just wouldnt bet on it,,never bet on the "sure thing" remember his match play could reinjure his knee....oops did I say that?>

I say one, the U.S. Open at Bethpage. He's won there before and I think he has his sights on winning back-to-back U.S. Opens. I don't think he'll be in top form in time for the Masters and he seems almost snakebit there of late anyway.

I'll go with 2 or 3 this year. Hopefully his new swing and everything will be good.

I say zero.

I have nothing personal against him, but I think sitting at home for eight months in addition to the birth of his second child might soften up his focus a bit. I think he'll be in contention in at least one of them, but I don't think he'll win any this year.

You are not alone. Sergio has the potential to be a "Colin Montgomery" with respect to majors.

Just for the record I voted 2. I don't think one of them will be the Masters.

Yeah, Tiger losing focus. Thanks for the laugh - I needed that.

I'm going with a bold prediction of three, FWIW. He's never been pain free and he has a point to prove. That sounds like a dangerous combination.

Your welcome.

Even though I doubt he'll be lounging on the beach with an umbrella drink anytime soon, he won't be able to just jump back into his former self given what he's been through and had happen to him in the past few months. No one can, not even Tiger.

I think he'll be happy to prove you wrong.

He came back too quickly after his father died, missed the cut at the U.S. Open after about a week of practice, and then - remember this? - won the next two majors and virtually every other tournament he played in. Wasn't that when he won seven or eight straight? Oh yeah.

There's an old saying I know you and everyone else knows:
