So what club do you hit from 100 yards? 85? How many GIRs? How many putts per GIR? Fairways hit percentage? Up and down from inside 100?

ok bud, yep, just cuz i started deadlifting i am not a serious bodybuilder. FALSE. just cuz u dont do one exercise doesnt mean anything, granted its one of the big three of weight lifting but i never felt the need to do it cuz i made good gains without it. and o yea 185 isnt impressive, until i tell u that my bodyfat is under 10%, so plz dude gtfo

You said you had "dedication to a weightlifting program." That is obviously a lie because no weightlifting program will exclude deadlift. Simple fact. And yes 185 isn't impressive at all. A close friend of mine is 210, 5'11", starting middle line backer, maxes over 500 in deadlift, and over 400 in squat, and these are last years numbers. He isn't big enough to play football in a D3 school. Not impressive.

You need to grow up a little bit. Stop lying on the internet and go make some friends.

I have finally determined that this is a joke.

My definitive proof: No real person would actually write out the word "brah." One might speak that way, but they wouldn't write it. It requires one more letter than simply typing "bro."

The author is just trying to sound that way to enhance his character's image. Well done.

Yes, this is one of my biggest problems, i do have a sand wedge that i use from 120-130 yards and in (use my Pw from 130 to my posted distance and just throttle back) although i have not mastered these shorter wedge shots. i can get them on the green but my distance control is lacking. just need to practice more. it will come. and as for stats i just started keeping them so like I cant really tell u but all i know is putting is bad, and greens are pretty good and fairways are average.

on Teeing up with Tiger, he was pretty exact that his SW is 115 (or was it 114?) And that's much more recent info that the cited thread.

As far as this thread..... the OP doesn't have the proper mentality to have a career turning pro.

plz dude gtfo, i dont lift for strength obviously u idiot, i bodybuild, so all i freakin care about is vanity, i know sad, but i dont give a crap

not bad..your 280 carry distance is only 14 yards behind Phil Mickleson's average driving distance, and he's 20th on Tour this year.

http://www.pgatour.com/r/stats/info/xm.html?101

you're a joke, a real crock of s@#t.

It makes for a very entertaining forum though. I see it all the time on the range at demo days "On average, I drive 280". Put the guy on the launch monitor and boom, the guy can't get it out past 255, 260 tops.

and ur point about his wedge distance?? not very impressive. i cant stand people who put pros on a pedastool. obviously none of us have near the accuracy and moxy and blah blah but i will assure u that i can hit it as far as the best of em...obviously this doesnt mean jack squat tho...just saying brah

yep, keep trying to make urself feel good dude, it is unfricking believable. just cuz u cant hit the ball far doesnt mean u have to knock people that can. and i have hit drives over 320 yards rolling so dont tell me what i can and cant do.

I agree brah, putting people on a pedastool is stoopid.

Yeah, I mean, who wouldn't look ridiculous on one of these:

(I had no idea Walmart actually sells 'pedastools'...)

I see vanity is a general personality trait and not JUST why you lift weights.

Honestly, I wasn't thinking of you in the slightest until I mentioned the OP. My issue with you is your mentality. And that has nothing to do with wedge distance. The wedge distance comment was directed at the posted yardages. Meaning, that at least one of those distances is no longer valid. I don't even know why they were posted to begin with because I haven't kept up with the middle of this thread. Truthfully, I still don't understand what's so hard about golf. I had 3 birdies the other day in a round and I've only been playing a handful of months. I don't yet understand why it's "so hard" to become pro. I'm slowly learning things that maybe hint at the reason... but I still believe golf is a very easy sport. So I definitely don't put the pro's on a pedestal. THAT SAID, I grew up a tennis player. And until I reached the higher level of the sport, I did not understand what was so hard or impressive about the touring tennis pros nor what was so hard about tennis. The more you can do personally, the more you realize how much and how much better the pros do everything. It was an epiphany. I 100% believe that soon enough, once I get better at golf I will have the same realization with this great sport. If that never happens, you can expect to see me touring as a pro. So until that time comes, I dream on.

There are a lot of golfers I know who have had a bad day if they don't break 90.
These are not particularly good golfers. You have never broken 90.
You want people to tell you that you have the potential to play as a pro.
At the moment, it would see that you would have average ability and have made average progress for someone who hasn't played for very long.
The fact that you focus on distance rather than anything else shows taht you know nothing about golf.
Like I said before, read "Tales from Q School" It might make you realise that even if your handicap was +4, in many circles you'd be considered a wannabe.
Learn some manners, enjoy your golf and have a reality check.
At the moment you are probably not in the top 3 million golfers in the U.S.

In the race of life, always back self-interest. At least you know it's trying.
