Summer Rates are starting to kick in.

WHERE???????? MAn.....on a good day, purchasing through the discount websites, and playing in the afternoon, I can't get under $35, even for the half-way decent to downright sucky courses. The good ones don't really come under $40 down here.... I have only been able to find one 9-hole course that is $16 walking... I live in the Ft. Lauderdale area...where are you?
It's the indian, not the arrow! But it sure is nice to have good arrows!!!!!

Another thread got me thinking, whats it cost on average to play a round where you live?

My foursome for Saturday ran into one heck of deal. We are playing in one of the areas top courses....riding 18 holes w/ yardage data for $50. The River Golf Club in North Augusta. I can't recomend this course enough if you are ever golfing in the Augusta, Georgia area. It's a peach of a course with water on many holes....a shot makers dream. Distance is great but accuracy is where the $$$ is on this beauty. If I wasn't saving up for son's college $$$, paying ahead on our mortgage and etc. I'd join in a skinny minute. I love this track.

from what i've played around here, i would say the average public course, for 18 holes with cart, runs you about $25 after tax. the semi-private courses are more broad in their pricing - cheapest i've seen was $35, highest was $55.

Riding 18 here is about $35 on the weekends at most places. My group plays nine holes every thurs after work for $9 with cart on post, dirt cheap. If I wasn't building a shop right now, I would be playing 3 times a week at those prices.

the short game equalizes everything

25-35 dollars with cart at my regular courses during the week out in West Texas, add 5-10 on the weekend. I think (never played it) its 60 to ride for the nicest course in town on a weekend.
