i shot my all time low i shot a 68 today,never used a wood.a new swing change along with new irons which is why i uses irons only.im so happy wish i could do that all the time o well prolly back to mid to high 70's next time but a 68 i wanna scream

well I congratulate you on your stellar round of 68. What an accomplishment! I could only dream of shooting a 68. Someday soon I can say that I will be shooting the 70s regularly. My current low round is 78 twice in tournaments at my home course. However this week when I was working at the golf course there was a tournament for our girls high school team, and a sophmore shot a 69 (-2) !!!! I couldn't believe it that was quite a round, and she won the tournament by like 11 shots can you say Tiger like.

Was it really just a new set of clubs that let you carve nearly 10strokes off your game?

So does that just translate to more hit fairways and GIR? So your putting was already there, just waiting for long game accuracy to improve, or your short game to be less of a factor?

I've shot under par on both nines at my home course, but never in succession. My all-time low is 70. Breaking 70 is a huge goal of mine.

Cheers! I remember my career low. Shot a 70 and bogeyed the last hole. My son who was playing with me gave me such a hard time. "You could have shot in the sixties!!!"

Wow 68! Thats great congratulations! I'm working on consistlently playin in the 70s but breaking 70 that is just awesome.
