Look at Adams and Nickent. The Adams Idea Pro Gold is number one on the tour, but if you are looking for more forgiveness, they have two other models.

These are a hot selling item now so lots of companies are coming out with some pretty nice and interesting new designs.

My nickent 4dx utility rocks. Maybe not the farthest hybrid, but thats not what I'm looking for anyway. I want to be confident in it, and I certainly am. Check it out. v2s arent bad shafts either. I got mine for 40 bucks brand new in plastic on ebay.

I play the Cleveland Hybore 25 degree and have also tried the Taylor Made Rescue Hybrids and like them both.

My 3 faves so far are the Nickent 3DX models (very affordable also), the Cobra Bafflers, and Callaway Heavenwoods or FT hybrids. Took me about 6 weeks to really get used to hitting a hybrid, now I'm a believer-I've stuck more greens from 205-240 in the last 5 or 6 weeks hitting low loft hybrids than I had in the previous 10 years combined using long irons and fairway woods.

The Nickent Hybrids are amazing and CHEAP on eBay.

I also play a Nickent. They are a very cheap and forgiving hybrid. I demo'ed many before deciding on the one i bought.

If you want one that goes straight and high, get the Rescue Burner from TM. If you want to shape the ball, get the Idea Pro Gold from Adams. I just got my Adams and I've sprayed quite a few shots whereas I can hit the Burner easily with a slight draw most of the time.

I have good experiences with many brands. I have played Taylormade, Ping, and Nicklaus hybrids and have liked them all. I've liked my Nicklaus the best. If I were you though, you should go get fitted on your local stores launch monitor. It doesn't cost any money and you can get a good idea on which hybrid is for you.

I have a Rescue RP, which is awesome. Also have a Nickent 3DX, also very good. More workable with the Taylormade.

I personally think the Adams Boxer Pro Gold are the best hybrids out there. I just love the fact they are not offset and the squared appearance really fits my eye.

I play no other Adams clubs, but after trying their hybrids on recommendation I was hooked and imo they are second to none.

My Tools of Ignorance:

Driver: Ping I20 9.5*
Woods/Hybrids: Cobra AMP 3W and 3 HY

Irons: Cobra AMP 4-GW

Wedges: Callaway Forged Copper 56* and 60*

Putters: Scotty Cameron  35" (Several of the flow neck blade variety)

Ball: Bridgestone B330-RX and Srixon Z-Star

Bag: Nike Performance Carry

That sounds bout what I am looking for...I am going to the PGA Store in Atl in the morning, get on their machine and probably male my up then.
