I am not completely familiar with the Burner Plus irons, but I would hazard a guess that they are even more of a game improvement set than the R7's are. I would guess that they have more offset, larger heads, etc.

I wouldn't say one is "better", just different. My 2 cents! :D Gary

ok thanks for the info.

i found a set of TM R7 TP in a 3-pw with stiff steel shaft, but have read these are for low to mid handicappers typically. will these be a little too much for me at this point since i am just getting back into the game again?

I would say yes because they are more a a players iron. They will be a little harder to hit than the regular TM R7. Where have you been looking for irons?

When you say harder to hit are you saying they are less forgiving?

i have been looking on ebay, globalgolf, rockbottomgolf, 3balls, tgw, golfsmith, thats all i can think of right now...

Yes the TM R7 TP are less forgiving. The offset is a little less on the TP and I assume the sole is a little more narrower. I do know that there is very minimal cavity compared to the regular R7.

I have a set of Taylor Made RAC OS2's (2005) sitting in my garage with stiff flex. This is a nice iron for mid-high handicappers and I baby my clubs, so the condition is great.

PM me for more info. if interested.

I don't know about irons, wedges, or putters as I still need to upgrade in those areas, but you can't go wrong with the 07 Taylormade Burner Driver, 3 wood and 5 wood. I have them and love them to death. You can buy all 3 brand new at Dick's Sporting Goods for $410.00. I highly suggest them.

There are a number of places that will host your images free, and that's very much preferred over posting them as attachments.

tinypic.com is one. Photobucket, flickr, and some others are out there as well (and free). And no need to PM them - just use the [img] tag and embed them.

has anyone seen this before and what does it mean? im trying to find it if the whole set has no warranty or just the 7 iron or why Taylor Made stamped no warranty on one of the irons? found these on ebay, the seller says no returns. im not sure if the others have it or not since this was the only image that was close enough to see this.

I wouldn't buy em. To me that sounds like a way to scam someone into cloned clubs or something.
