beautiful clubs and bags that go with them inspire confidence, at least for me. Here's my set:

Titleist 909 D3 driver
Titleist 909f3 3 wood
Mizuno mp-67 2-pw
Mizuno mp-t black nickel wedges 52,58
Scotty Cameron circa 62 number 1 - either red or yellow/black headcover

What bag would go well with this? Thanks!

The titleist staff bags are by far the best looking in my opinion. Heavy, though.

In my stand bag:
909D3 with 10.5 degrees of loft and a 45 inch Fujikura Rombax 6Z08, x-flex
909F3 15* with a stock Diamana Blue

any type, as long as it goes well with the clubs. Preferably something that I could walk 18 with though.

I picked up a Nike Sasquatch Tour stand bag and I really like it.

if you want to walk, nothing beats a Ping Hoofer. i cannot say enough about the quality of these bags and how comfortable they are to carry around the course. they are also great looking as well.

I second the nike sasquatch bag. It's probably the nicest stand bag I've seen. 14-way divider comes in handy when organizing clubs and the straps are easily removed for rounds with a cart.

"Goes well with the clubs..." I don't even know what that means.

Sorry, I mean like colors matching headcovers, stuff like that

Most bags come in different colors. Design is not what you want to focus on anyways, build quality and ergonomically qualities are the important parts.

I have the Titleist Lightweight Stand bag in red, white, and navy. It's a nice bag and will match your headcovers. Or, you could do what I did and order some matching Rocket Tours.

Get a black and red colored Sun Mountain stand bag. Sun Mountain makes awesome bags in every way, shape, and form. And the black/red color matches nicely.

I second the Ping bag. They have a number of colors that you can get to look nice with the rest of your bag. You can then top it up with some nice Rocket Tour Headcovers.

Ping stand bags are as good as they come.  I had a Hoofer for 10 years with over 100 rounds per summer.  When I sold it, it still had some life left in it.

    • I'm not sure you're calculating the number of strokes you would need to give correctly. The way I figure it, a 6.9 index golfer playing from tees that are rated 70.8/126 would have a course handicap of 6. A 20-index golfer playing from tees that are rated 64/106 would have a course handicap of 11. Therefore, based on the example above, assuming this is the same golf course and these index & slope numbers are based on the different tees, you should only have to give 5 strokes (or one stroke on the five most difficult holes if match play) not 6. Regardless, I get your point...the average golfer has no understanding of how the system works and trying to explain it to people, who haven't bothered to read the documentation provided by either the USGA or the R&A, is hopeless. In any case, I think the WHS as it currently is, does the best job possible of leveling the playing field and I think most golfers (obviously, based on the back & forth on this thread, not all golfers) at least comprehend that.

    • Yes it's true in a large sample like a tournament a bunch of 20 handicaps shouldn't get 13 strokes more than you. One of them will have a day and win. But two on one, the 7 handicap is going to cover those 13 strokes the vast majority of the time. 20 handicaps are shit players. With super high variance and a very asymmetrical distribution of scores. Yes they shoot 85 every once in a while. But they shoot 110 way more often. A 7 handicap's equivalent is shooting 74 every once in a while but... 86 way more often?
