I really like this course. Missing the fairway can leave you with a terrible lie. Makes the tournament a lot more unpredictable. Many players on the PGA Tour take the risk of finding the rough since it's cut fairly short and easy to play off. Here however, you do not want to go far from the fairway, or you'll be in deep grass.

How about that par 3 (15?) where Marino just about lost his ball in the grass about 20 feet right of the green, and had to take relief? I can't imagine playing that course. I think I'd lose 20 balls.

Though of course I've be pulling for our local man Fisher I cant help myself getting caught up in the Tom (lets all have a hip replacement) Watson roadshow.

Good to hear Seve giving an interview on the BBC ,sounds great and was even saying he might play at St Andrews next year, Now that WOULD be a fairytale

      Day 130: Cinco de Mayo Day 7/24 of Full Speed Spectrum training. Difficult training day after struggling to certify my warmup yesterday, and today. Finished 13 mph lower than my training speed on Thursday. Hope to hit some balls today.

      We just completed our winter league (Jan 1 - April 30)  Our scoring was simple.  We used the 18 birdies app.  You get 1 point for every member of the league you beat head to head in an 18 hole round (no handicap).  You also get a point for completing the round.  Therefore 4 members play a round- winner of the round gets 4 points, runner-up gets 3, third gets 2, and last gets 1.  Points accumulate throughout the season.  You can play as many times as you want. Our winner accumulated 110 points while second was 102 and third was 97.  We had a total of 16 members in the league.  No issues whatsoever.  All about fun.
