I gained 20+ yards using the Hammer X Driver with Aerospeed shaft and was amazed how easy it was to line up and hit. The ball propels off of the clubface with a medium-high trajectory and then lands with plenty of scoot and roll-out. Jack's infomercials may be a little over the top, but his products do work for a lot of golfer's who are looking for distance. I bought my Hammer X Driver off of the Golf Channel informerical and couldn't be happier.

You'd think the shills would try to be a little less obvious.

I would question very seriously the Mike Austin stat. He had a gale force 39mph wind behind him gusting up to 50mph and the ball was hit down hill, it rolled over a green and then down a steep incline. I would say under normal conditions it was maybe a 350 yrd drive. Do you have any idea how much big wind aids a well caught tee shit with low side spin?

also keep in mind that Mike Austin claims in his bio to have been a fighter pilot, crashed a fighter in Africa on a 'top secret mission', worked in the 'intelligence service', been an Opera singer, and is a sophisticated doctor of 'kinesthesiology'. Please. No one even knows where the guy was actually born. Stephen Segal has nothing on him. Little Stevie Seigel is in actuality from Encino but he has been self-promoting for so many years you'd would have thought he was the head of the CIA during the Cuban Missle Crisis. People love stories, the taller the better. They loved to be conned. They can't get enough of it.

I have had the Hammer Driver and 3 wood for about 5 years. I am over 65 so the driver keeps my shots at a little over 200 yards off the tee box but the Hammer 3 wood has allowed me to hit 180 -210 yards on the fairways. I also have the Hammer sand wedge and it has been Ok. My best Hammer product has been the Hammer putter which takes a little getting use to I have used this for the last 3 years.I would say try try them.
