ok... this is pretty ridiculous, not to mention expensive. 230 pounds for a freaking girl to go to the course and have a drink with you? wtf? come on. that's 500 bucks! If I were that desparate, I'd just hire a prostitute, take her to the course with me, and then take care of business after the round. hell, it'd be cheaper. now obviously i'm not endorsing prostitution, but it's surely a lot more economical, and you definitely get more bang for your buck.

well, same difference. it's still ridiculous. i've never understood that mentality about some guys that go to hooters, strip clubs, etc. it's usually the same guys who go out to bars and complain because girls don't like talking to them, so they have to pay for their attention. sorry if you're one of those guys, but if i'm going out with a foursome on the g.c., i don't want any womenfolk around, except for the cart girl when i need a gatorade.

For the Record: I'm one of those guys that goes to Hooters for lunch, and occasionally visits the strip club. Do I try to pick up the girls? Nope. Do I spend way too much money when I go? Of Course!!!

But I have a blast while I'm there, and it gives me a chance to blow off some steam, and see some big nice fake ones while drinking a beer. This is like that, except you add golf in. Is it to be taken seriously? Nope, but if you have a good time, and have the money to spend, who cares?

I know people who spend more than that to go to Country Music concerts. I hate country music, and wouldn't spend my money that way, but I don't criticize them for how they choose to spend their money.

I don't know what the big deal is with Hooters in the first place. Girls dress more provocative than that on the streets nowadays. I take my 14 year old son to Hooters every once in a while for some chicken wings, and he's never once complained.
