If Kim's behavior was questionable by any stretch, it would be one of his teammates' or coaches' peragotive to call him out -- not a person he just beat.

Yeah, it's pretty easy too. All you have to do is read the article.

It could be as simple as AK being 26 years old, worth millions and going out doing his thing...is it right? maybe not but try to remember when you were 26...at least for me with millions of $$ it wouldn't have been pretty.

In fairness to Allenby, I'd be pissed too if someone went out all night, got schwastey, probably banged some girl hotter than I ever will, then handed my ass to me on the course the next day.

He didn't pass out or puke on the course, how drunk could he really have been? Allenby is rapidly ascending the ranks of golf's biggest douche cases IMO.

Yeah I don't think AK's personal trainer Darby would ever let him drink enough alcohol to affect him the next day.

Allenby always has been and always will be a sore looser and a sook, every summer here in Aus he comes home and finds something to complain about, lets just say for an Aussie he doesnt have many fans down here... Oh and for what its worth i play better hungover too!! Go AK

Allenby is a sore loser. He is in a deep funk, and should be. Here at the Turning Stone Resort Championship, he missed the cut. Then he went to the President's Cup, and got killed in the singles 5 and 3. Not good.

AK should be aware that if he's in the position in the future to be a captains pick his behavior may cause him to be passed over. The kid has skills but if he wants respect in a team event he should tow the line to some degree.

I agree with you. The Euros have set the example. Party guys like Woosie always knew when to hold back for the sake of the team. They have such a great record in the Ryder Cup since 1985 because of their esprit de corps. Americans not only cannot pronounce that phrase, some of them have trouble understanding it.

      I honestly believe if they play longer tees by 300-400 yards, closer to or over 7,000 yards, more rough, tougher greens, women's golf will become much more gripping.  BTW, if it weren't for Scottie killing it right now, men's golf isn't exactly compelling.

      Yeah, that. It stands out… because it's so rare. And interest in Caitlin Clark will likely result in a very small bump to the WNBA or something… and then it will go back down to very low viewership numbers. Like it's always had. A small portion, yep. It doesn't help that she lost, either. Girls often don't even want to watch women playing sports. My daughter golfs… I watch more LPGA Tour golf than she does, and it's not even close. I watch more LPGA Tour golf than PGA Tour golf, even. She watches very little of either. It's just the way it is. Yes, it's a bit of a vicious cycle, but… how do you break it? If you invest a ton of money into broadcasting an LPGA Tour event, the same coverage you'd spend on a men's event… you'll lose a ton of money. It'd take decades to build up the interest. Even with interest in the PGA Tour declining.
