I just saw these glasses at my local Bed, Bath & Beyond.

I am curious if these actually work or if they are just another "As seen on TV" shtick that barely works. Anyone ever try these or have them?

Let's see... a golf accessory at Bed, Bath and Beyond... does that tell you anything?

They are trying to get unknowing wives to buy them as a gift for the hubby... something else to hide away in the garage or basement and and hope that the wife never catches on that you aren't using it.

I know one thing for sure your golfing buddies will have endless material to poke at you. I think your about 20 yards ob, wait you haave the blue glasses no need for a provisonal. Your in the lake, oh I forgot you got the glasses no problem...........

Here's a website for the product.

Now if they actually work the way the graphic shows, I can see how they could help. I have color vision problems (colorblind...if you will) and do have problems seeing the ball at times when nestled down. Yellow balls seem to work better for me, but not many manufacturers make them.

Either that technology works or it doesn't. If it doesn't, who cares.

If it does, glasses are a bit bulky - I'd look into this solution for $6.99 ** shipped **

This product is similar to the stick used to get balls from the water. I would save the money and use it toward a new box of balls in my humble opinion.

^ The only difference is that the stick is to save money, and the optical filter is designed to find balls that are *in play*, saving you a stroke.

    • Still plugging away with the teacher.  I do have a question after working on some drills last night. This is something I should know already but for some reason, I have gotten myself confused. It deals with weight transfer on the downswing. At what point, should that take place?  Should it be early (prior to reaching A4) ?  I ask because in one of my drills  I get to A4, I feel the weight transfer AS my arms drop, and then go.  Now this may be totally normal, but I "feel" like this gets me in a weird timing position and causes me to try and do too much at once.
    • Tentatively in for at least one of those days. My job situation is a bit up in the air at the moment so need to get that sorted out first then I'll know more for sure or not.
