I like Callaway stuff. I actually picked up my brand new FT-5 driver for free once I traded in my old cleveland launcher. They are on sale at Golf Galaxy for $99. Havent hit it on the range yet, but I am pretty excited.

Everything is made in China now days. My HiBore XLS had a sticker on the shaft saying "Head made in China, Shaft made in the USA, assembled in the USA", and the new TM R9 driver not only has the head made in China but it's shaft as well. The only things not made in China today are Mizuno iron heads (the forged ones) and some PING putters. Other than that, everything else is Chinese.

I will have to say that I played the FT-9 Tour this season and enjoyed the results when I was swinging well. My swing wasn't the most consistent this year which was frustrating, but when I was swinging well the driver was money.

Maybe I missed it in the OP but what shaft is in the driver?

Sorry I just took a closer look at the pic you posted and it's a ZCom shaft. I am toying with the idea of trying other shafts in my driver. I tested a few over the summer but couldn't find any I preferred over the one I have.

Good one Loving this driver. Went to the range again today, that is 5th time this week. This driver rocks. I literally have added 20 yards to the FTi I had been playing. What I am most impressed with, accuracy is far better as well. I honestly did not expect that when I decided on this driver. Best money I have spent since I got the Rife Antigua. This has been a good equipment year to say the least.
