That Watney/D. Johnson group sure would've been fun to watch.

Agreed!!!

I think they BOTH leave a little off the gas pedal of the tee, both are tall guys that use some super leverage on all their shots...I think Watney has an all around better game at this point. My boy Goosen is creeping towards the top..watch out.

Of course the day I start Glover he freakin' lays an egg. 2 over after 8.

Ouch, so you used two guys for one slot? I'm going to try to avoid doing that, particularly in non-cut events.

The top ten players are all within four shots of Glover. Kapalua is a course that can give up low scores; a lot of people are going to be in it to win tonight.

I'll take Ryan Moore out of the contenders to win; he has only given up one shot to par all week, which is the fewest out of everyone in the field. More importantly, he was one of only three players (Retief Goosen and Steve Stricker being the others) who carded bogey-free rounds in yesterday's windy conditions.

I didn't really want to but he was up five strokes and I wanted to make sure I got him in so if he gets in the Top 3 I'll get bonus points.

Rory Sabbatini on a great run at the moment.8 Birdies today so far.

Dodgy trousers though.

I heard he spent the last month playing the course. Not a bad way to spend December. One story has it he was playing as a single with whoever was playing for vacation, and one group complained when he went to the back tees. They didn't think he looked like a good enough player to play from the tips!

In any case, this tournament is far more exciting than any of the football I saw in the past 48 hours. Even the re-run of yesterday's round that was on earlier this afternoon.

Go back a page or two: I've told that story already.

Oh, and Green Bay-Arizona is going into overtime as I type this. It's turning out to be pretty exciting on its own.

Fairly rich for Nick Faldo of all people to talk about Sabbatini ruffling a few feathers on Tour, and imply he's not well liked.Although a presenter on another channel called Sabbatini 'very arrogant', so who knows, may be well deserved.

There was the "play through" incident at the Booz Allen in 2005, when Rory was so fed up with his playing partner's pace that he left him behind at the 17th green to play the 18th by himself.

Sounds like he has a fairly short fuse.Doesn't look like a bloke you'd want to mess with at any rate. Also seems like he has a tiger-shaped chip on his shoulder, from what I've been reading.

Destroying Kapalua at the moment, 10 under today.

    • Interesting that Scottie is #10 on the all time money list and he's been on the PGAT for 4 years. Of course, purses are bigger now, but  neat to look at non-the-less.  The list of top 18 money winners in PGA Tour history has plenty of surprises This list is updated through the 2024 RBC Heritage. To add, Scottie won 4.5 million at the Players, Jack played 44 seasons and won a little of 5 million on course.
    • 43 (6 over) Couple bogies, couple Pars, a birdie and no doubles. Not bad for first 9 of the year.
    • Most the stuff I found on Instagram and just copy and mix it up. a few of my favorites: Clean>Squat>Press> March Around the body >catch >Squat> press I also hold a the kettle bell upside down with both hands on the handle. Squat when I stand back up I lift the kettlebell up over and behind my head and hold then repeat
    • Not sure this is the best thread but, if the rain holds off, today is my 1st round of the year.  Getting ready I can not find my Shot Scope.  I guess I put it away too well for the winter and thus that is may "Winter Depression".  I'm sure I put it somewhere that made sense at the time.
