I have tried alot of diffrent grips. Most are pretty expensive if you are going to regrip the whole set. I recently purchaced a set of Golf Pride Dual Durometer grips. They have been out for quite some time. I had Golf pride New Decade's on my clubs before. When I compared prices it was not close. I got the whole set of DD2'S on ebay for 27.99. I have only played twice with them but they seem to be comparable to others. I actually like the feel of the Dual Durometer's better. Not as ruff on my hands. Is there really that much difference?

I know what you mean...some of the grips can be really pricey. The NDMC are sweet, though. I have one on my hybrid. I want to put them on my woods, too.

I personally use Lamkin cords...installed I pay $8. (so $112 for the entire deal) I think most grips are more or less the same the trick is they come in different thickness...Lamkin stds to me tend to be a bit thinner than std golf prides...I get slightly larger and they feel better. Back in the day the installer used tape to build them up...now ya gotta be careful that the size matches your set & your feel. I just regripped my driver and it was noticably thinner...had to go to an oversize.

BTW my son is 17 hates the cords,,,cuts up his hands..but he doesn't play that much. I play in S.Fla very muggy and a lot of rain..so I stick to the cords.

I went with a silightly smaller grip(.580) and they feel really nice. I feel as if I have more control.

I use the non cord version, slightly oversize crossline (I love cord, but I wear it out way too fast). 8$ seems awfully steep. You can buy them for like 4$ and install them yourself for a lot cheaper.

My pro shop sells New decade multicompound grips for $20 AUD. Lucky a local and rare clubfitter sells them for $13 to me. It really is a joke how much golf grips are in Australia

I prefer the New Decade, I keep an eye out for them on ebay and deals on the internet. I bought my last set at a golf store that went out of business and paid less then $5 a grip. Generally I don't replace my grips all at once either, I will replace wedges, 7 iron, driver more often than others and as one gets bad I replace it. This way it is not such a big hit on the pocket book. The summers are pretty humid here in the midwest so I prefer the cord.

Yeah, wanna make 14 dollars the hard way?
