dent on driver crown

does having a small dent on the crown of my driver affect the performance??

i'm asking because i played last week and teed the ball up too high and hit it fat.

first time ive ever done that ( and yes i'm embarrassed)... i didnt try to hit it again during the round so i'm not sure if its actually damaged or not

as long as the face is fine there is no crack in the crown you are good

An Auto dent repair man may be able to fix that. Just a thought. Might be worth a check.

I know the desire to get the dent out, but I wouldn't trust my driver to an auto body guy... no offense to anybody but if you are bent on getting it fixed, i'd send it into the mfg. Personally i would live with it as a reminder to focus. But that's just me.

I'm not talking about a hack. They have suction pullers that may or may not work. You could watch the guy do it. I wouldn't leave my club with anyone myself. Thats only if the dent really bothers the guy mentaly. Otherwise no big deal.....just play it. I had a dented driver years ago that I just couldn't hit well after I dented it. Gave it to a young kid on the range that needed one.

Nah, I know it's not cool to have a dent staring at you all the time. Can a club be easily pulled out as a car part?
