Do we have a Tiger sighting in Virginia??? lol j/k.

With the face-on videos, it looks like you're casting or throwing the club before impact. That might be whats causing your pulls. Try some punch shots focusing on creating more lag with the idea of hands in front of the ball at impact

This pulling shots thing is really getting to me. I focused on purely alignment today and I'm still pulling the ball. Everyone is telling me it's not the swing I understand that part so I've been looking at other things that could be affecting my ball flight. So I'm thinking maybe it could be the grip. Can you guys help me out with some more possibilities of pulled shots.

You need to get used to where you're aligned, then let your body correct a bit. The pulling, however, will continue until you swing inside out. At the top of your swing, you start down by coming over, not under. Good players drop the club down on the inside to start the swing. To do this, you must let it fall and follow your body, not use your arms to swing it.

It takes a while to learn, but it's worth it. So long as the arms follow, it's hard to pull the ball.

You might check the alignment of your shoulders when you're set up. It's easy for the right shoulder to get pulled forward when you reach down and put your right hand on the grip. Then your body is aimed at noon and your shoulders are aimed at eleven o'clock, and that's where you'll tend to hit the ball. Set up so the line across your shoulders is parallel to your target line. If it's not your habit, it will feel awkward until you get used to it.

It looks to me like you have the same problem as Camilo Villegas at the Honda during the last round. Check out Iacas's post on this:

http://thesandtrap.com/forum/threads...amilo-Villegas It seems like you need to drive your hips more forward so you can come from the inside. If you scroll down on the 1st page of that above link, you will see that David Wedzik (david_wedzik on the forum) has uploaded a photo of why Villegas is hitting those pulls. See the angle between his lower body and his upper body? Look at Charlie Wi on the right of his post. Wi is hitting a classic draw and that is what you will do if you can drive your hips forward more. Being that I'm a pretty crappy golfer myself, I could have said something ridiculously wrong here. If I did, I apologize and will try not to post in the playing tips section until I improve more.

It's possible, but Camillo's problem is more specifically quitting his hip slide, his alignment is probably OK. I'd suggest to start with allignment, then move on to technique. Without alignment, technique is useless.

It was hard to tell in the videos, but when I paused it just after impact with the driver, it looked like he was getting stuck on his right side.

You're coming down pretty "steep" on that last Iron DTL video. (Red shirt) You can even see it in the freeze frame before hitting play. My instructor and I are working on the same exact thing: trying to flatten out the downswing so that, at this point in a DTL video, the club is intersecting the arms midway or a tad flatter/closer to the right arm.

How does one flatten the downswing? The backswing isn't as bad as I thought and I've always thought about flatten the downswing to eliminate the steep swing but everyone talks about flatter backswing when I try to drop my arms I'm hitting everything fat.

I also agree that you are coming steep on the last DTL video. Your back-swing starts with the club going "out" and away from the ball and then you lag nicely from the inside on the way down. This out to in path is probably why you are hitting your pull fades. The club comes from the inside and pulls the ball with an open face. Try to start your back-swing more on the inside (not much) and come back from that inside path. with that, hopefully you'll start getting some slight push draws. Nevertheless, you have a great swing!!

Yes, you're coming down steep. On the way down, the shaft bisects your shoulder, it should be on the same line as your right arm. Check out all the pros, their shafts on the way down mirror their right arm. It'll help with your pulling.

Just feel like you're swinging out to right field. THat helped me get flatten out my downswing.

don't change your posture.... ever. The best golfers have found a way to address the ball in a very natural way.... almost like they just walk up and hit it. That is what you do. You can not go wrong from your starting position. If someone tells you to change, tell them to fark off.

I agree you can not go wrong from the starting position, but it sure as heck can lead you down the wrong road. I don't buy into not making changes. (excuse the comment if you were specifically referring to this particular situation and not all golfers (beginners - whatever level). The posture i have now versus what i had back then is what made me a better golfer. You're much better than I, but i disagree.

What people tell me when I do that is: to start your swing let your hands "fall" to start your swing and accelerate into the ball. Sometimes it helps me.

The one (and only) thing that caught my eye was your front foot in your follow through. That spinning out looks like you're trying to rotate your hips out of the way too early. I think if you try to really slide your hips forward more before turning your hips in your follow through you should get a bit more consistent shot shape.

It sure as hell isn't from lack of effort that's for sure.

I only know what I can tell you from my 20 hdcp experience and when I push balls left it's because of what melchior said, I turn my hips too soon. And I dont know who said to rotate em and not to slide em but I get great results when I slide and terrible results when I rotate them..
