I just took down the stats from my last round, I shot 85.
Hit 69.2% of fairways 50% GIR 39 putts!
That was a pretty ok day putting, nothing amazing but not that bad either.

Any good tips to improve my putting?

Hitting 9 greens and 39 putts? That's not an OK day putting. That's pretty bad. Try this link:

Putting is having a consistent reliable puttting stroke under presssure.

1) all putt are straight putts
2) distance control is more important than the line, especially if you 3 putt often
3) keep your wrist and shoulder one piece, do not break your wrist when you putt
4) distance is controlled by the length of your backstroke and forward stroke with the same tempo on all your strokes
5) practice a putting stance that allows you to keep a one piece trangle of your shoulder and wrist. I notice if I stand taller and my arms are fully extended this is the ideal height for my putting stance and the short 3 foot putter are easier to make under pressure
6) practice putting everyday
7) keep your putts under 30 per 18 holes
8) pros have putting round of 23 putts per 18 holes
9) improving your short game around the green and within 50 yards will compliments your putting
10) allocate more time to your putting and short game practice to lower your handicap

Practice Practice Practice.. I know my biggest problem when I couldn't putt was I also couldn't read the green worth a damn. Once you get the hang of reading the slopes, and angles of the green, you are golden.

only point I can add to this excellent checklist is regarding "holding the wrist break"...the wrists breakdown at two points: the front of the wrist as well as the top of the wrist.

If u look at all the funky grips, as well as belly putters etc..both r designed to eliminate front to back and up and down wrist action. Of course that will make your stroke all shoulders and chest...maybe not for everyone but that's how I get the best results. re: practice every day...even 10 minutes on the carpet at home..your wife & kids will think you're a tool but it helps

thanks a lot guys.
I tried all those tips and I've shortened down my loopy putting stroke.

Putting a lot better.
Should break 80 next weekend.

One more tip, the transition from your backstroke to foward stroke should be seamless. similar to a heavy pendulum's change in direction. The smooth transition will help keep your putter on line and not change direction as in a pull or push.

One way that I notice helps my transition is a slow backswing

Two things that works for me.

For long putts, longer backswing, smoother downswing, lagging the ball to the hole for a tap in. Keeping the wrists locked! The left wrist may well be flat, but regardless, the important part is to keep the wrists locked. Look at Steve Stricker when he putts. The triangle formed by his arms does not change at all during the swing. His hands are locked completely and never breaks down. Wrist action is for long shots with irons and woods, not putting.

Also, how much do you practice putting? Next time you're on the range, spend the time you usually do on hitting balls on putting.
