I can't understand the logic of drinking alcohol on a Golf Course to be honest,we are suppose to be big drinkers here in Ireland but in all my years of playing Golf I have never seen anyone drink alcohol on a Golf course while playing Golf..
I had never even heard of a cart girl until I joined this forum,it just wouldn't be accepted in Ireland..
Oh and I always have water and Lucozade with me when playing Golf

Vodka and either cranberry/grapefruit/orange juice. Beer (usually either Yuengling or Coors Light). Always throw in 2 or 3 G2 Gatorades.

wish we could get Yuengling around here. last time I had some was at xmas on a layover in Atlanta

Water or Gatorade/Powerade. I never drink soda or beer while on the course because caffeene and alchohol actually make you thirstier.

Man, we got a bunch of serious dudes on this board!

I don't know about hard liquor or Red Bull, but I used to use those damn 5-hour Energy Shots, until I realized they really did affect my game. I was always jittery, and couldn't hit anything straight.

On the other hand, beer doesn't make me any worse of a player. Or any better.

The stuff in my bag (i.e. The clubs that I haven't tossed in the pond. Yet.):

I typically freeze 2 bottles of Gatorade and bring 'em with me. If I don't (usually don't bother for casual rounds)... I usually drink Coke or Pepsi and water. I also don't understand the consumption of alcohol on the course. Afterwards, absolutely. But during the round... I can't do it. I do know a LOT of guys who drink (some pretty heavily) while playing.

I used to just drink pop or whatever was there, but after going thru a few 90 degree 5 hour rounds I gave up on everything but gatorade and water.

Used to be Mountain Dew or whatever else was handy, but lately it's been Orange Powerade. I've made at least one birdie the last 2 rounds that I've drank Orange Powerade, so it has to be my lucky drink.

Lots and lots of water on the front, 1 gatorade with a hot dog on the turn, then lots and lots of water on the back. But then again, I'm in Phoenix and play when the temp hits 110, and I rarely ever use a cart.

Driver: Titleist 910 D2,  Motore Speeder VC 6.0 shaft, 1" long, set to A1

    • Day 65: Played 18. Decent round with the exception of two doubles.
    • Went back to feeling the hands slowing down and stopping at A3. Feel a significant pause at A3. Hands down towards the ground. I get the mental image of Morikawa with how he pauses at the top of the swing, but then really rips at it.  For me, I have to  grip the club about 5° open. Or at least what looks like. With the driver, it’s another story. A bit of a regression here. Lots of John Daly– esque over swing. Lots of  shallowing with the body. If I try to send the club behind me with the hands going down to the ground. I have a bad habit of timing that with an over swing. So, I had to go back to feeling a significant positive again to control the back swing length. Then I went back to try to bring the back of the right hand down to my right hip. It feels stupidly, awkward. Like no flow to the swing. But from A6 through impact  feels more effortless. Now I’m hitting some decent push cuts this way. In the swing feels like it has no speed. But, it’s probably better overall. something I noticed that is way different from my irons to my driver is that with my irons I can keep my eyes looking at the ball much better through the downswing. With the driver, I find it pretty much impossible to do. Will post some videos later.
    • The text, in case Elon ever kills Twitter (more than he already has): Quick 18-hole game you can play on a launch monitor: Write 90, 95, 100, 105… 175 on 18 balls. Put them in a bag, pick one out, try to carry the ball the listed distance. Scoring: - ≤ 1 yd, Eagle - 1.1 - 3 yds, Birdie - 3.1 - 6 yds, Par - 6.1 - 9 yds, Bogey - > 9 yards, Double Of course, you don't have to do it with 18 balls; you can use slips of paper, etc. You could also set a start and end point and randomly generate 18 numbers, and play to those yardages. But… let's see some scores? Let's see what people get. The nice thing is… you only need a Mevo level device.
    • He's entertaining. I still don't "like" him, and he has said a lot of stupid shit over the years, recently about the LIV stuff and the OWGR, etc. TikTok is infinitely more evil than Bryson.
    • I have a full day of house hotel (not true, I went to Golf Evolution before 7am and just got home: four hours of work and 40 minutes of practice) and I'm primed to watch the U.S. Open.
