Well guys, after a very long talk with the rep at Ping, I'm once again using Ping irons for my rounds and tournament play

As you may or may not know, I tested this week with Titleist AP2 and AP1 irons, both are fine irons, nothing against the AP2 or AP1, they just didn't feel right for me after a day or so is all, but what did work best for me are the Ping G15s , the only con I had about the Ping irons is the insert in the back, it comes out very easy with your fingernail, but the rep told me that if it did come out they would replace it free of charge in 2 days time or if I needed overnight delivery they could do that, but with a charge which is fine with me

after hitting the range with these new irons, I could understand why K.J. Choi uses them, they may not look that great from the top line, but they feel very solid at impact, plus I was able to put some hardcore spin on these baby's just like my G5's

nice clubs. You have switched alot, should have just went to the local golf shop and asked to borrow some demo clubs for a day and leave your information. Thats what I did. I was able to take the ap1, ap2, mizuno mp1000 and mp58 and hit tons a balls on the range with them.

I did that, but hitting on the range and hitting on the course are two totally different things IMO

Oh, I'm hooked on these G15s now, the only club I'll be checking out now is the ping forged anser irons due out in the fall this year

Alright... I will bite. Why the G15? As a 3.0 marker, were you seeking max consistency and forgiveness? I'll miss shots with my current clubs and sometimes consider a more forgiving set, but the G15 seems like a huge leap. Did you hit the i15s?

my thoughts exactly

usually a low single digit is looking for more of a players or blade type iron for consistency and workability whatever works for you I guess though, right???? personally i cant get over the width of the sole and thickness of the topline on those

truth be known, I have never liked playing blades, the G15s are big, but the consistency I get from them is insanely good, tho the workability isn't as good, it's enough for my game

I like the Ping g15s and the Callaway Diablos. When the time comes (after the money, of course) I want to check out these two sets.

Anyone know the difference between these and the G10 irons? My insert out of my 4 iron came out after overall 3 years hard use (me and prev owner) and Ping replaced it free of charge :)

I gotta ask why do you use the 909f3's when you seem to want more forgiveness in clubs than workability? The G15's are some of the easiest irons to hit and the 909f3's are some of the hardest fairway woods to hit in my opinion.

I'd like to try these when they come out.

A forged Ping iron...now that is interesting. Will definitely check that out when they become available.

Enjoy your G15's, great clubs for sure.
