He probably had it done at the cameron studio... The putter has a different paintfill as well.

That only work if the putter has been sent to the shop for authentication before, then it could be checked against the registry number, and at $65 not many people get the SS registered, if the putter was SCC at $1k it better have a registry number, lol

from the pic it looks pretty real to me 95% (not looking at paint fill, grip, shaft ..... just the head), however I would have to see it in person to be 100% sure http://cdn3.sbnation.com/imported_as...ss-newport.jpg

I don't know if Scotty would do stamping like those, maybe third party? Definitely look for authentication.
