I agree. But . . . other english speaking countries really have no room to throw stones.

The UK has a few hundred years head start on unique slang and dialects. Don't worry we'll catch up.

i had a friend from kent when i was living over in france. seriously, this guy sounded like he had a mouth full of potatoes when he talked. even other english people couldn't understand him. but seriously though, you guys definitely test the boundaries of the english language.


I would rather listen to English accents than half the crap slang and laziness I deal with daily at work or college. And no offense is meant to UK people because I love British accents :P They may have years on us, but they spoke it first...so technically it could be argued they speak English, and we speak with an American accent lol
